Taxi from BCV's

We returned last month from BCV's, had a great time, even met the FRogman himself at Wyland galleries!!!

Anyway, we were out front getting ready to leave and a couple got in a taxi cab and told the cabbie to take them to the Magic Kingdom. Have any of you done this in the past? I imagine it is faster than the busses, but how much would it cost?

We had tickets to the taping of "Millionaire" in January and took a cab from BCV to MGM Studios (plane arrived late-almost didnt get there in time). I think it cost us $5. Another time we should have taken a cab was after dinner at California Grill. Got on the monorail just as the MK was closing - never again! Usually Disney transportation is great, but sometimes its just worth it to take the cab.

We take cab rides sometimes if we're trying to get to an ADR and don't feel like relying on Disney transportation or don't feel like having to leave 1.5 hours early just to ensure we get there on time. It costs between $5 and $10 depending on where we go (that includes tips).

It can cost more than that depending on where you are going. We stayed at AKL a couple of times and took taxis to MK resort hotels for dinner. That was ususally a $20 trip including the tip. We took a taxi from the GF to Epcot once and it cost $12 before tip. I think those prices were reasonable and didn't mind paying them. However I had read on these boards that $10 would take you anywhere on property so the first time I was really surprised. Just don't want others to have the same surprise.

VWL - BWV $20 including tip this past Dec.
It's definately the fastest way between resorts!

Thanks for the info!!1 We will try the taxi out next time we are there, sounds like a great option for those times you NEED to be somewhere at a certain time, and really not too unreasonable cost wise.
