Taxi cab Harbor to Knotts

Anyone know how much it would be for a taxi ride from Harbor Blvd to Knotts?
To take the shuttle would cost us $40,so just wondering if it would be cheaper....thanks!!

I can't address that, but the MTA 460 line bus looks to be $1.25 a person... http://www.mta.net/images/460.pdf.

That bus will also get you all the way to downtown LA, where you can take the MTA Red Line to Universal Studios and/or Hollywood.

That bus will take you several hours to go anywhere and probably close to all day to get to LA.

OC has a terrible public transportation system.

I provided a link to the schedule. Looks like about 24 minutes DL-KBF, and an hour and 50 minutes to downtown LA. MTA is the LA transportation system, not the OC bus system, BTW. For what it's worth, my son has used the octa.net bus planner to get from school to his hospital volunteer job with great success. Two buses with the schedule timing working out perfectly for him.

But we digress...

Anyone have an answer on the original taxi fare question? I'd suspect it's a cheap enough alternative.

THanks for the bus link-that looks like a good possibility.
I called the hotel and asked them how much a taxi would be from there to knotts, she said $20 each way.
Not bad, considering the transit we could get with our admission passes works out to $40.

I would rather take a cab and be able to use it on our own time frame

Thanks for posting this thread Albertan Mom. I was going to ask the same question I prefer a cab as well since we can go and leave when we want. BTW I was looking at the KBF website last night and saw that if you pre-purchase your tickets to the park you get $10.00 off. You can print your tickets from the website. Thirty Five dollars is much better than $45.00

I have to defend OCTA as well not only are they good they just one the best transportation system in the country this year. I use them all the time because I don't drive and in 2 years I have not had a issue with them at all.
The LA bus system that you pick up right outside of Disneyland on harbor will take you right to Knotts Berry Farm . It is so much cheaper and kids under 6 are free. I reccomend taken the bus there and when you are tired take a cab home that will save you about 20 Dollars or maybe even more if there is traffic.

Sounds great!!! So the bus will pick me up on Harbor Blvd at the bus stop? And take me right to Knotts? Not a block away, but right to it?
