Tax Time is Coming...

W-2s are arriving, TurboTax is flying off the shelves, and people are starting to get an idea of their tax situation... Which leads me to ask -- who's going to spend their tax refund on a trip to WDW this year???

This is the first year I haven't budgeted the taxes into bills. And with the current situation, I'm glad I didn't! But it will be used for the trip!

I will be using part of mine to fund a trip the end of February and to finally get annual passes for my wife and I.

After it pays off a couple of higher interest bills from Christmas, it's Disney all the way.

I know a lot of people say that you shouldn't do this, but DP and I aren't good savers and my tax return is my "government sponsored savings account." I might not be earning interest, but it's there.

I never get a refund. Although we are trying to make our taxes even out this year, which is better than owing...

Last year we got a huge surprising return so we went on our first WDW trip and it covered the entire trip. This year I am not expecting anywhere near as much. I am hoping it will cover the whole trip but I doubt it.

The last 2 years are entire refund has been spent on a Disney trip. Unfortunately not this year

Just got my W-2 today....now waiting for DH's and then we get to book our airline and park tickets!

I'm hoping my DH will say we can go back to Disney in Nov. We should get back more than enough to pay for a trip. He has spent a lot of money building a new motor for his race car, so it's only fair that I get to go to Disney again!

We are actually using our refund to pay for flights for our DCL cruise later this year. Although it isn't Disney World, Disney is still going to end up with my money.

No refund for us for the past several years. If we DO get anything back, I'll nab it for the Disney fund!

We are not expected to get as much as we did last year, but we are still getting something. With that, we will put it towards our trip in May.

What is this "refund" you speak of? Tax time just means another quarterly bill for me - this is when it sucks to be self employed!

Cruise on the Dream and 4 days at the Boardwalk, yeah baby!! As you can see I'm a little excited...
