Tax refunds

That is from the irs page. I was shocked. Figured with the filing delay that it would b closer to the 21 days. I wish i could tell the state ones. Those r usually quicker. Oh well....i m just happy with this one lol.
Good luck everyone!!!

We filed on Jan. 23rd, it was accepted on Jan. 30th.

I haven't checked the IRS website until just now and it says it's scheduled to deposit on Feb. 5th. :)

Ours does not even have a date on the IRS website yet. Hopefully we will get it soon.

We get ours back the 5th of feb. We filed on the 27th was accepted on the 30th and just found out this morning when it will come. The state was super fast accepted on the 30th and they sent out the return the same day. We haven't received it yet though they say between 3-5 days to get to our bank.

Mine is sitting in Taxact waiting for me to submit it. I'm still getting over the shock that it will be over $3,000 less than it was last year.

Income was the same but for some reason (we think a switch in payroll processing company) DH had less taken out in Fed taxes. DD#2 graduated college in Dec. They put the tuition for the Jan-May semester on last year's 1098-T (which I didn't realize until I called the university) and she got a tuition waiver that counts as a scholarship for the Aug-Dec semester so we don't get the $2,500 credit that we got last year.

At least the refund will be enough to pay my property taxes.

I don't hold out any hope of getting the state back fast. Illinois is at the bottom of all states with their credit rating and so far in debt.

We did ours a couple weeks ago at H&R Block so it was sitting waiting to go in. On the 30th IRS website said we should get it on the first and this morning it was in the bank.:cool1:

You guys are lucky! Revenue Canada isn't accepting online returns until Feb 15th and it usually takes 2 weeks to get the money deposited.

They always put full year on base years 1098-T. All of 2011-2012 goes on 2011. This is because most semesters start first week of Jan and tuition has to be paid before that. So most people end up paying 2nd semester in Dec and want the tax credit.

I'm right there with you! The whole "21 days" is driving me nuts! I'm used to knowing the exact date.

Mine got accepted last Saturday the 26th still says 21 days and waiting to be processed. My friends got accepted the 24th and got hers today. The IRS tool has not changed on either one of ours since the first day it was available.

I have't got my bank statements yet with mortgage interest and interest earned...and ya'll are already getting refunds. (What's that, I ask?)

We already filed our taxes and state has been accepted but the federal is held up in processing til mid February because of our claim for education credits. Our mortgage company first puts our interest statement online and then sends it out in the mail so it was accessible fairly early.

Sent from my iPhone using DISBoards

Transmitted my federal on the 29th and State yesterday as that was the first day they could be. Both of them were accepted on the 30th. Now I'm just waiting to hear when they will be deposited. Hopefully soonish.

filed ours on the 30th...IRS website says it should be in our account by 2/19...hoping and praying it's in our account b 2/8

Just finished mine today...Already accepted by the IRS...just waiting for the processing. The sooner its here, the sooner I can move out of our crappy place

filed Fed via tt on 28th expected depoit date feb 5th. State and school via state site accepted/processed on 28th expected depoit date is 7 biz days so I figure 5th at latest.

I filed mine on the 27th, but it was accepted on the 30th. I am still getting the 21 day message.

I didn't think the IRS was accepting returns until the 30th:confused3

We filed a few days before the 30th but ours are being held because of the "new education credits" so I am sure we won't see our refund for weeks and weeks and weeks....
