Tax Rates

Is there a tax on food in FL? If there is what is it?? I know hotels in the area are either 11% or 12%. Thanks in advance. Janis

I think, it.s 6.5%, but I'm not 100% positive.

Depends on where you buy it. Restaurants = 6.5
Stores (depending on the item) 0.
