Is the total tax rate at restaurants 13 percent? Since Disney added extra restaurants to MYW Dining, I am trying one last time to see if I think it will be cost effective for us. Thanks!

I thought I read that somewhere! That makes a big difference. Thanks!

Most of WDW is in Orange County, where the Sales Tax is 6.5% (including meals). There is also a 5% Lodging Tax so your room is 11.5%.

In Osceola County, which includes the All-Stars Resorts and Wide World of Sports the Sales Tax is 7.0% and the Lodging Tax is 6.0% for a total room tax of 13.0%.

Which makes me glad that we are staying at SoG where the tax is ZERO!:)
