Tax on Per Point Costs?

Hi Everyone

Just new to this and wonder if the $10.00 per point includes all hotel taxes?

Is this the only money I will have to pay and I just want to confirm I will not have to pay for anything except incedentials upon checkout?

Whatever you pay the member for the reservation should be all you pay, unless you add on extra towels or cleaning. Or room service (available at some DVC resorts). The member may ask you to pay extra for using Paypal or some other extra convenience you ask them.

Welcome to the Dis Boards. You've just discovered another one of the great things about DVC, not having to pay that annoying 11.5% room tax anymore (or at least until Florida politicians figure out a way to tax timeshares).

Thanks for the great info.

This does have to be considered when making reservations because the POR Riverside with AP is $109.00pn plus tax and for the time we want to go the OKW is about $129.00pn including tax so it works out to about the same.

We won't have to buy the AP if we do not need it just to get the room discount.

I am so glad I found this board.
