Tarzan Rocks! To Close Jan. 22nd

I just checked the Operational Updates on the WDW website and it says Tarzan Rocks! will be closed for refurbishment beginning Jan. 22nd and it goes all the way through the end of June.

It looks like that's when it will close for good. The arena is rumored to be closed in after refurbishment and a Nemo themed show is also rumored to replace the Tarzan show.

Just finally saw the show this week, and really didn't like it at all.

Maybe with the closing coming soon, the energy is gone from the show, but it seems like it is time for it to go.

I love Tarzan we will miss it by a day. Oh well I will have to see it on Broadway this Spring..

I agree. Never thought Tarzan compared to FOTLK. I would go because the wife liked the loin cloth but it's a good thing he was built because I've never seen a worse actor (and he didn't even have to speak!).

That's weird... because even cast members have said it is leaving for good, not closed for refurbishment and reopening. Wonder what that Jan 31st means until it will continue into the next month and each month until it reopens will state the dates 1-31st.

If you go to the operational updates, you have to choose the month.
So if you choose January, it will only give you January updates.

I checked Feb - June 06, and yes Tarzan is closed during all those months.
So it looks like the end of the road for this show.
