Tarzan Rocks Replaced By........

Reading another message board I found this info.

There is new info claiming that Tarzan Rocks will be replace with a Finding Nemo show.

To me this is a mistake. They are already adding more Nemo to the Living Seas. Too much Nemo is not a good thing.

Not a rumor. Friends of a friend were hired to write the new show. Don't know when exactly it will happen but I do know they were there in June to work on it.

I agree that I think too much Nemo and I love the movie don't get me wrong and I also really loved Tarzan as well as Hunchback which is long gone from MGM. Nemo was not a musical so I don't know what type of show they will do. They might want to try something different, what could they do that people would like to see?

They could replace Tarzan with more bathrooms and THAT would be an improvement as far as I'm concerned....lol. It was the worst thing we saw at Disney!!!

The theater will be closed in and air conditioned. Similar to what they did a FOTLK.

Finding Nemo? Music has always been a major player in these shows. That's why you've had Lion King, Beauty and the beast, Little Mermaid, etc... The only music in Nemo were those cute songs sung by Mr. Ray.

A friend of mine took a music appreciation course and one night they had to watch "Finding Nemo" because the teacher claimed the backround music was so well done. Unfortunately, most of the students thought the movie was "stupid". I LOVED the movie (wish I could find a math connection for this math teacher) and welcome the addition.

I never could figure out how Tarzan fit in Dinoland anyway, and I really don't see how Nemo's supposed to fit there. I mean, I understand that that's where the available theater is, but really. Nemo in Dinoland?

I will miss Tarzan, though. Sexy jungle man.

I sure hope this is true. Tarzan Rocks is the single worst attraction or show in all of Disney, IMHO.

Good. I've never seen the Tarzan rocks show, it just didn't seem intersting to me. I don't like alot of rock music anyway. I hope the Nemo show is good because my DD3 loves that movie.

Just to clear up confusion, Tarzan is DEFINITELY closing in January 2006. That was announced months ago, so that isn't a rumor.

Any speculation at this point on what show or attraction is going in there is a rumor. I don't necessarily think the Nemo show idea is horrible, but I wish they could do something better. I wasn't a huge fan of the movie. I also heard rumors of a revamped Jungle Book type show (I believe that the show before Tarzan) so who knows. Anything will be an improvement over Tarzan though!

Also, if any Disney sound technicians read these boards: whatever replaces Tarzan Rocks, please do all of us guests a big favor: turn DOWN the sound volume! OMG, this show killed my ears. I have about a 40% hearing loss in both ears and say "What?" constantly, so if I'm complaining something is too loud, you can rest assured that it is WAY too loud for anyone with reasonably healthy ears.
