Day Seven (11/15/09) cont.
"Please don't make me leave!" Part Two
After finishing up our mini-golf game we decided to head over to Epcot and then catch a bus back to the resort where we could wait until it was time for our ME bus back to the airport. So we headed over to the Swan and Dolphin to catch a boat.
I managed to take several pictures of the Yatch & Beach Club, as well as the Boardwalk on the way to Epcot:
Once we made it into Epcot we head to walk through World Showcase to get to the front of the park. On our way through England, we spotted Mary Poppins and I immediately dragged Andy into line so I could get my picture with her. I was so excited since we hadn't really seen many face characters on our trip. Funnily enough, while we were waiting in line, Andy looked at me and said "You do realize she isn't real" and I just stared at him and said "Just humor your wife and hush!" The woman in front of us bust out laughing, turned around and said she had just had a similar conversation with her husband.
Mary asked me about our trip and asked if we traveled here by umbrella. I said unfortunately not since we had a lot of luggage to carry and we didn't have a magical carpet bag for it to fit in.
We also saw Alice, but I didn't feel like waiting in line, so just a picture I caught in between children.
When walking through Canada, we managed to spot Off Kilter. We stopped for a brief moment to watch.
I also got a picture of the Christmas Tree for World Showcase. I don't think it was up when we were there at the beginning of the week.
As we were going through Future World, I asked Andy if we could do just one more ride before we left! I convinced him to do Test Track on more time since he enjoyed it so much. Of course, the line was a little longer than we had thought and we got stuck standing in the same place in line for a while. (Not sure if there were technical difficulties or what). After we got off Test Track, I decided to ride Mission:Space by myself, while he waited for me outside. (Haha, I snuck two in!)
After that was over, we got on the bus and went back to POR. We still had our 30 minute arcade voucher, so we headed over to the arcade and played a few games with each other.
Then we decided to take a nice leisure stroll around the resort since we never really had a chance to do that during our trip. It was nice and we discovered that you can fish in their little fishing pound! It wasn't that expensive either so we decided next trip we might have to try it out. We also took a picture of the main pool that we never visited.
After finishing our stroll, we still had time to kill and I wanted to use up some of the leftover Dining Points we had. Even though we couldn't eat all the food, we ordered a pizza, make your own pasta (Chicken Alfredo basically) and a make your own salad. We were so full we could barely eat anything. We swore after this trip we weren't going to eat for like a week.
After dinner, that was it. We picked up our carry on bags and waited for our ME bus to come take us away. I don't have any other pictures and the trip home is pretty uneventful and boring. So I guess that means my trip report is all over!!
It was an amazing trip and it went better than I could have ever hoped for. Andy loved the trip and now is totally willing to go back again. I got a magical trip with the man I love in a place I love more than any other in the whole world. Now I'm scheming a trip for October 2011, so we can do MNSSHP!! Hopefully next year you can expect a PTR for that trip. Thanks to everyone who followed along!
