We arrived at the Toy Storu Parking Lot at 7:50pm and are almost to the front of the line to get on a bus. My previous record was 20 minutes. This will be an hourly. Guess everyone wants to check out merch ;).

I'm thinking that people were trying to wait out the heat. I cancelled my reservation for today. Tomorrow we will wait until late afternoon.

I think you’re right but the park is packed heavier than any recent memory. Complete gridlock and the parade has been over for a bit. TS parking lot was almost full.

On a side note, if you’re going to BS your way into brining a huge wagon into the park (yes, she told the person in front of me that Disney can’t ask for proof), please please please don’t come to a dead stop in an active moving walk way!

It was pretty dead this morning. We got in the park at 815 and left at 1045. We did Pirates, Haunted Mansion, Big Thunder, Jones, Alice, Toad, and Buzz.

Most local kids are back in school now, so if you can manage to come in the morning I’m sure it will be a lot better than evening :).

How bad was the heat when you left? Whenever we go first thing with the intention to leave early, we end up staying longer than expected.

I was wondering how they plan to run PTN at 10:30pm and close the park at 11pm. Well, maybe I got my answer - they cut the Frozen scene tonight! Only took just over 10 min to get through the parade.

It was too hot for me but since we weren't waiting for a long time in an outside queue.... The humidity was higher than usual for California.

That would upset me if this was my first/only time to see the parade to have them cut parts of it. If they can randomly cut the Frozen float then there truly is NO REASON to not run it during Christmas other than cost savings.

The castle starts getting icicles in mid October. When do the garlands start to go up for Xmas? Instead of pausing PTN at the beginning of Halloween, maybe removing Frozen was the solution to keep PTN running through Nov 9. :confused3

Would you rather see the parade without one float or not see the parade at all?

Saw Toy Story lot was a disaster at 7pm as we passed in our Uber. Security and Disneyland gates were long. Haunted had a 95 minute wait most of the evening. Good thing we had 6 MEPs from earlier and decided to use 4 of them on haunted.

I saw the MKs were sold out yesterday. Looks like it was locals just coming in to check out the first day of Halloween. Nothing like happy holidays on August 22.
