Well hello everybody!! Andy and I just got back yesterday from our amazing honeymoon and all I can say is, we could have stayed there forever! We had an amazing time, did lots of fun stuff, ate WAY too much food and bought plenty of souvenirs. I think in total we took around 400 pictures and that includes our photopass photos! I just had the CD sent to us and had it shipped in 1-2 days, so hopefully it will be here soon. In the mean time, I'll start off the trip report with a little introduction for those of you who are just joining me! If you wish to read my pre-trip report go here. (By the way, we did get plenty of towel animals/creations all week long!)
Now I don't have my official wedding photos from our photographer yet, but I will post one of my favorite pictures taken by someone else! Somewhere along the trip report I promise to post a bunch of photos of the wedding for everyone to see
Who?
Me (Taryn): 23 yrs old, and lover of all things Disney. My parents raised me on Disney movies and yearly visits to WDW, resulting in my current obsession. I have been to WDW about 14 or 15 times, Disneyland once and Tokyo Disney twice. My dream is to also see the Paris and Hong Kong parks, but thats way in the future. Currently I am the holiday manager at Coach but hope to be working a full time permanent job in January. I love spreadsheets and charts and thats how Ive managed to plan our wedding and honeymoon!
Andy: 24 yrs old, loves me and now loves Disney! Andy had never ever been to WDW. In fact he is not a fan of theme parks since he worked at Paramount Kings Dominion several years ago. I had to explain how they are so different and WDW isnt just a theme park, its a way of life. He went along with it at first but later admitted that he had a lot of reservations. Within a few hours of being on Disney property he was sold! He currently works for a printing company, doing of course printing but also dabbles in graphic design.
Why?
Why not?? Honestly when it came time to decide where we were going for our honeymoon, I knew all along that I had to go to WDW. Andy wasn't completely sold on this idea but when I started to show him our other options we either weren't interested, couldn't take that kind of time off or it was too expensive. In the end, WDW won and he relented. Now that we are back, he already ready to go back next year for Halloween!
What?
Hmmm....I'm at a loss for a what. My last one was about the title of my pre-trip report, but this title is pretty boring lol.
Where?
We stayed at Disney's Port Orleans Riverside and let me tell you it was awesome! I wondered if it would be as nice as a Deluxe resort which is what I am used to staying in (when my parents are footing the bill) but I couldn't believe how great Riverside was. It was so beautiful, so serene and just perfect for the two of us for our honeymoon!
When?
