i bought one of those living trees at target about a 2 weeks ago and i've watered it when it needs it, but it just dried out and died this week. anyone think i can bring it back to target and get my money back for it? i'm really annoyed that it died so quickly, it was so beautiful for about a week, then the needles started falling off. (all the rest of the plants in my house are doing amazing, so i'm pretty sure it's not because i'm a bad plant mom).

I would take it back just like any other item. 2 weeks? It should last longer than that.

Is it one of those real christmas ( evergreen ) trees? those dry out realy fast if your heat is running all the time. I would say now because its like a plant and they think you just didnt take care of it. I would call your target store and ask. At least that will save you a trip. Good Luck, I have always been a sucker for those real christmas trees and they always eventually die on me.

it is one of those real trees. i love them, but i'm always afraid to buy them. i finally did and now it looks awful. it's funny, because it's always really comfortable in the apartment, not too hot, not too cold, but maybe it's really dry?

target is 5 min down the road from me, but maybe it would be a good idea to call. i hate lugging that thing back with me to find out they won't take it back.
