We will be staying at PP next week. Curious as to how far the walk would be to get to target to stock up on snacks????

You could take a cab to Target or order a grocery delivery from Safeway.com (Vons).

The only place I can think of that's walking distance is the 7-eleven on the corner of Harbor and Katella.

Looking at Google Earth it would be +/- 1.8 miles to Target (Corner of Harbor/Chapman), BUT Food-4-Less (Grocery Store) is about +/- 1 mile, and it's at Katella/Euclid. HTH.

We went to this store several times last year, and it's listed on the 7-eleven web site. (It's #8 on the map on the corner of Harbor and Katella.)

Catch the number 46 bus on Harbour, it stops right outside the DL entrance, get off at Chapman, the bus or the driver automatically tell you when its Chapman. Bus stop right outside Target for the return trip, they come every 15 minutes or so...

We always order from Albertsons.com. Never a problem there either. There IS the mini-mart across the street from PP also, but mainly chips and those types of foods.

ooops....forgot to ask if the monorail will be open. I know it was closed last year at this time but we are hoping to use it this trip. Can't find where on the website it would say if it was open.

how does the online shopping work? is there a premium on the prices? how much do you tip the delivery person?
