Target vs. Wal Mart

Target is 'fun' to shop at and Walmart is gross

Really though I can walk around target for quite a while looking at stuff but a walmart I can't wait to get out of. Target is set up more like a department store where walmart is set up more like a warehouse.

The clothes/merchandise at Target is trendier & they have great clearance finds.
If there is more than 3 people in line ready to check out, they will open another register. You will NEVER see that at Wal-Mart!
Not only are the workers better at Target, but even the shoppers are different. It's scary when you go to our Wal-Mart at night.

I have been a Target girl all my life and won't go to Walmart unless absolutely necessary. The quality of items at Target is superior to Walmart as far as home goods and clothes are concerned. And most Target's have prices that are comparable to Walmart's on groceries, cleaning supplies and such. I'm willing to pay a few cents more at Target for a more pleasant shopping experience.

And as one poster said, when Target puts something on clearance, it's a better deal than when Walmart tries to clearance it. I have gotten so many good deals. Just last week I bought boxes of cereal for $.98 each and the use by date wasn't until the end of the year! My kids will eat it way before then!

Target is way better. The clientele, selection and overall store is better.
