try Gamestop or a used game store. I not a hard core gamer. But I do buy a few PS3 and Wii games a year. I stopped buying new games last year. After I fought a few new games from Target and the games were horrible.
I didn't like the thought of buying a used game. But after you buy a few games at $45-$60 and realize after 20 minutes they suck.
Gamestop you can buy the games used. and if you don't like them or if they are damaged you can return them for a full refund within 7 days. This has saved me a about $150 since last Christmas.
Some games you buy used will only save you $5. But once again if you don't like it, return it. It was hard for my wife to understand. Until she bought a new game from Target, opened it up and my son played it for about 5 minutes and said he don't like it. She then realized that Gamestop was sometimes a better options.
But on the flip side. Some games are better off buying new. Like some PS3 games. Some games have free downloadable content. If the orignal buyer uses the codes to redeem those which everybody does. Then you can't get the free content, like cars from some racing games, or maps for first person shooter games.
