Target Savings Thread

Could you post the link? I looked on their website but I didn't see any for footwear. TIA!

Go to Target's website and click on store coupons. The Merona shoe one was under the general heading of "clothing"

Unfortunately they already pulled that coupon a few days ago. Oh well at least I got a little $2 Merona purse for our WDW trip when they had the $5 purse coupon posted.

I had the worst luck at Target yesterday!
The cashier was having a hard time and I had a cart full of stuff. The manager (or whatever she was) came over to "lend a hand." First she took my stack of coupons and took out over half of them, " These say one per purchase so you can only use a coupon on one." Well, I had 6 boxes & 6 coupons. I didn't want to be a pain and thought I'd just come back and do those later.
Then, she tells me I can't use the J&J $1 off coupon on Little Buddies soap because the soap is only $.97. I tell her I don't expect the overage but she refused to let me use it.
She said the policy has changed and "Coupons are no longer a free-for-all here."

hmmmmm...... I went home with about half of my cart. Anyone else having problems at Target lately or is it just mine?? I guess if that's the way it is I will deal with it but I like to know before I hit the checkout!

I just had a good experience on Monday at our Target, which isn't always the case. The cashier was friendly and had no problems with my coupons. She did stop on the Herbal Essence coupon, but remember I got the travel shampoo. She looked at the coupon after answering her own question, and scanned it when she found no exception - really not a problem at all!

I also had a middle-aged guy behind me with three bags of rubber bands and a bottle of soda. He was quite impressed, and complimented me on my great savings! :) I was just happy he wasn't crabby with me! He could have moved to a different lane, which had opened next to mine - but I think he was curious to see how much I saved!!!

My money-maker...the Scrubbing Bubbles Extend-A-Clean Power Sprayer. Regular $8.69. I had a $5 off manufacturer coupon along with a .50 Target coupon. I also added a Target coupon that gave me a $5 gift card with the purchase of that specific item. I thought it was pretty sweet! :dance3:

I had that happen to me (both things, the overage and the 1 per coupon) in the same trip. When I protested they let it go "this time". But the overage thing they wouldn't let go. The item was 68 cents and I had a 75 cents off coupon. They woiuld only take the coupon as 68 cents. And then she crossed off 75 cents on the coupon and wrote 68 cents! What difference does it make to them? They are getting the 75 cents from the manufacturer.

FYI--they have begun to mark down toys for the semi-annual clearance. Most are 30-50% off right now. I think they go to 75% at the end of July.

Also, if you're planning to go to Toy Story 3, there's a big Energizer display in the video game section. If you buy three 12-packs of batteries, you get a free TS3 ticket. The 12 packs of batteries were $7.99, and Target has $1 off Energizer coupons on their website.

Another new policy regarding coupons. Most stores will let you bring your receipt within a day and get your money if you forgot to give a coupon at checkout. I have done this at Jewel. Gone in the next day when I forgot my coupon at home or something. Well, a few weeks ago I was checkling out at Target, it was 15 minutes till close. My DS was tired and not cooporative, so I forgot to give them the coupons. I got home and was unpaking when I realized that I still had the coupons. I tired calling but they were already closed. So 1st thing in the AM I called to see if I can bring them in. I had never done this at Target before. Woman said yes come in today. I came in on my lunch break. The manager was like, we only take coupons after purchase if you return the same day. I said, how could I return the same day if you were already closed? Look at my reciept, I bought all this 15 minutes to close. So I went into how I tired to call that night etc. Manager said, I will do it this time since they are Target coupons.

I can see if I was coming back DAYS later, but the next day???

My Target had Graco Nautilus and Britax Marathon car seats on clearance 15% off yesterday. That's a good deal.

I used my BOGO Littlest Pet Shop coupon on the clearanced ones today. THere was only a few left, but my DD found 2 that she didn't have.

Got some fruit snacks for $1.78.
General Foods International Coffee for under $2. Raspberry chocolate-YUM!

The same here. They also had a small section in an aisle as well. Hello Kitty, My Little Pony were some things on the 30% off shelves.

DD has been asking for a Zeno (zit zapper) for a while and she got me at a weak moment Tuesday. Shelf price was $129.99. There was no clearance price or anything. Rang up $39.99! Color me EXCITED!

Ran in today for another box of granola bars from the clearance endcap
($3.84 for 12 pack of Nature Valley oats and honey bars).... and found a stainless steel cat food bowl for .74. We actually were in NEED of a pet bowl, so this was perfect! ................P

Tons of pet items...cat litter, dog beds, toys for 75% off. Large dog beds were $10 and smalls were $3.74. They had all of the Kitty City pieces and a tree. Lots of dog toys too, we stocked up for Christmas!

I noticed one at my WalMart for the same price ($39.99) just today at lunch. Not on sale or anything, that seemed to be standard shelf price!

ETA: These all appear to be the new 'Hot Spot' that go for $39.99 list. I got curious, and decided to see if I could get it cheaper - with a quick goggle, I found the website myzeno.com and the coupon code HOTSPOT2 for $10 off. The site has no shipping and no tax. So the total cost is just $29.99!!!!! My DD10 who is just starting to get acne will now be getting one for Christmas!

I noticed the $39 ones as well. Thanks for the above...$29 is even better! Lets see if they work.

At Target last night and found what I felt to be a score!!
:cool1::cool1:

The Summer Party Barbie in a sand bucket w/shovel were 30% off and marked at $1.03. They had Barbie, Nikki, Summer, & Teresa, all full size in swim suits. DD4 was so excited when I told her she could pick out 2 of them!!
I also snagged 6 more for my tub-o-gifts in my closet.

I also noticed that the clearance stuff was mixed with reg. priced items instead of in the endcaps. It makes it much more difficult to find the things I didn't really need anyway!:lmao:

Be CAREFUL with those, especially with younger preteens -- my friend got one but returned it after she found out they can "accidentally" cause 3rd degree burns!! Just a heads up.

[The best thing (as a young-20 make up artist) I can recommend is get her on a good skincare routine now (I like clinique and philosophy), she'll thank you later!!]

I actually researched this exact issue before buying it for her. All of the information out there says it doesn't get hot enough to burn skin (only 121 degrees). And I can't find any reports of this particular device causing any burns, let alone 3rd degree burns.

Now, there are other devices on the market that may get to a higher temperature for all I know. But this one seems to be pretty safe with nothing other than the "it didn't work for me" type complaints.

"Nothing says Merry Christmas like a Zit Zapper"

Sorry this just made me laugh! I know a 10yo girl will prob love it (I know my DN tried a bunch of different stuff for her acne and would have snatched this up!)
