I'm Canadian and don't know what a red card and pharmacy cards are. Are they like rewards points? Can anyone get them?

Not sure what the pharmacy card is, but the Red card (in Canada) is either a debit card you can hook up to your bank account, or an RBC credit card. Both get you an automatic 5% off your bill.

In the U.S. Target stores offer a pharmacy reward program. When you fill 5 prescriptions, they will send you a Pharmacy Rewards Card good for 5% off your purchases for one whole day. Sometimes they run a promotion so you reach the reward sooner: for example in April, we got double credit for each prescription you filled. Not sure if they offer this in Canada or not.

Also, if you have both a pharmacy rewards coupon for 5% off and a red card (their discount debit/credit card), you can use them together. The coupon will be applied first, giving you 5% off your total purchase, then the red card will give you 5% off the remaining amount.

I'm in the US though, but I would think Target would handle things the same up north.

Thanks! I was hoping to sign up in LA to get ten percent off the gift cards before going into disneyland, but I guess it's not that easy!

Ill definitely sign up for one when target opens here in September though!

Yes, as the previous post says, the 5% pharmacy rewards discount and the 5% Red card discount do "stack." Also, I just found out today that you CAN also stack multiple pharmacy rewards cards for even bigger savings! It was the manager of Target who told me this today.
