Naturally, something I purchased last week went on sale this week, and it's a fairly decent price difference. I was going to take my receipt in today to have the price adjusted, but can't find it - if I bring in my credit card (and the item) that I used to purchase it with, can they look up the receipt that way and do the adjustment?

TIA!

Yes, they can look up your receipt from your credit card. You probably don't even need to bring the item in.

PP is partially correct...

They can do a reciept look up with a credit card, but it is a "blind" lookup. They can swipe your CC, and scan an item, and the computer more or less plays a matching game. It is not as if the worker is physically lloking at a pulled up copy of your reciept.

You will need the bar code/ dpci #. So if you still have the tags/packaging, you can bring that.

Or you can find your item (same exact color/size) in the store and take it to guest service. They can scan the tag on the item to look up on your CC. I did this today. Some pillows I bought last week are on sale. Rather than bringing in the pillow... I grabbed the very same pillows off the shelf and they looked them up that way. :thumbsup2

Also note, they do price adjustments for 14 days on sale prices but NOT clearance prices (red tags)
