Target goes to 75% Off Christmas when this year?

Crossing my fingers hoping my Target goes right to 75% Off Saturday. :goodvibes

My Target store said that there are going to be a lot of disappointed people after Christmas because they won't be doing the markdowns like they use to.

The Target I went to last night (the new one on Sante Fe) won't probably have anything left to markdown...it was picked over!

So is the one over by Southwest Plaza, guess I won't be going to any Targets around here!

Besure to post tomorrow what % off your target is and what is left in the store. :goodvibes

The Target in Norman, OK, has 30% off Christmas candy and 50% off lights and things. They had alot of things left. Another Target in Okla. City had 50% off both candy and lights. I hope that they will mark things down more soon.

75% off at my Target today (Austin TX). Tons of candy, wrap and ornaments left. One Target was slim pickings, the other had at least six aisles full on both sides. Found some Goldfish crackers that were mixed in with the regular ones on the shelf, three packs of tape, sharpie markers, Pilsbury Brownie mix, trail mix, nuts, a cooler/camp seat in the redboxed gifts section, FP Little People sets, Thomas the Tank engine sets, Kleenex and much more.
Saw but didn't buy lots of plain white dinnerwear in red boxes, glasses and other tabletop items, sheets, throw pillows and other home goods.
I bought heavy duty outdoor lights, paper towels, garbage bags, soap, gladwear, and foil at 50% off, there was none to be found today.
Happy hunting!

I have 2 targets that I go to. One was 75% today...the other one closer to me was only 50% today.

Will Target price adjust for seasonal merchandise? I bought a bunch of chair cushions yesterday at 50% off, will I be able to get a rebate when they drop to 75% off? I'm happy with the price I paid, just wondering...

ETA: Just checked their website, and it looks like the official policy for seasonal merchandise is that they will only refund at current clearance price (e.g. if its 75% off that's what they give back, so you can't do a price adjust), which is fair:)

I just got back from 2 Targets and they both were still 50% off. They had lots of cards left so I am waiting until 75% off. That's really all I want. I might get a few rolls of paper, if any left. But I think I have enough from the past couple years to make do.

I was at one Target today and not only was it still only 50% off (candy still 30% off:headache:), but they had two huge flat trucks loaded with boxes of Christmas stuff (linens I think) that they hadn't even put on the shelves yet! They had better get moving on marking this stuff down or it will all be at Goodwill next week!

We have 2 Targets in our town (don't ask), I stopped at one on the way home from work and it was at 50%. My dsis-in-law wanted to go to the mall so we stopped in that one, it was at 75% and very picked over. I think they marked everything down that day. Whats wierd is that I was in the store with my son on Monday and there was still lots of christmas stuff at 50. Less than 24 hours later its at 75 and empty :confused3.

Just got back from the target in Mt Luarel, NJ and they said they are going 75% Off tomorrow.

Still 50% here at the few Targets I've checked yesterday and today. (North Atlanta suburbs).

I went in to the one by my house today and candy was down from 30% to 50% off. Merchandise was down to 75%. They have so much stuff left that I am waiting out anything else until 90%, which I am guessing will be Sunday. I did get some Lindt truffles (my favorite) for $1.74/bag, and the food items that are not considered candy are marked down to 75% off, too.

ETA: I don't know if any of you have done this, but I always check the price of something if I go in thinking it should be time to lower the prices and the signs still say 50%. A couple of times I have found that the merchandise is marked down to 75% off, but they failed to change their signs yet.

Target here is 75% off...I just got back. Everything had 75% off signs.
Few thing I got....
Hickory Farm Sets....$3.74 & $2.49
Fisher Price Trio Airplane...$1.24.....they were in the X-Mas Clearance and there were also some in the toy dept.
Playdough - CandyCanes(10 containers) $0.99ea. and the Holiday Treat Bag(20 containers) $1.49ea.
X-Mas Tree Doodle Pro $1.49ea.

The bottom of my reciept says I saved $158.40...lol.

I just got back from our Target. 30% off candy and 50% off all other holiday items.
There was hardly anything left. For the last couple of years, when Target hit 75% off, there was still lots to choose from. This year it was all crammed into one aisle.
They had lots of 30% off candy though.

Our WalMart also had very little left. WM had lots of cheapy wire ornament hanger packs, overpriced gingerbread house kits and those $1 ornaments left though for 50% off.

I did get Nestle red and green chocolate chip cookie packs in the refrigerated case for 50 cents each. They also had gingerbread dough rolls and those already cut out shapes also for 50 cents each.

Attention Birmingham, AL shoppers! The Targets in Hoover and Fultondale both went 75% off today and there was quite a bit left! Happy hunting!
