Target goes to 75% Off Christmas when this year?

Targets in Melbourne, FL went 75% off today. Got some chocolates, wrapping paper, and some nice stuffed animals with body lotions for mother's day gifts - floral scents, so no one can tell it was from Christmas! Both targets were picked over, but still lots left, at least this morning. Lots of trees left at Melbourne store, food items at West Melbourne store.

My Target was 75% off today. I got a chocolate covered goldfish pretzel bag for $1.00 which I will try shortly. The girls each got a butterfly charm making kit for $1.24 and we picked up a bakugan card game for 85cents. We also got a bella sara game 2with one velvey mini horse, two card packs and internet codes for 75 cents. I think the only other things we got was a 5 pack of Disney Fairies lifesavers for 24 cents and a skittles thing with a mini dry erase board/marker for 85 cents. We were just browsing while dh went into Home Depot.

Still 50% in Norman, OK. It looks like Christmas never happened. About six or seven aisles still full of stuff!

I went to a Target a few towns over and they had everything at 75% off. So I bought:

A 4 piece Christmas Bowl set for $3.99
4 plastic tumblers at $.37 each
A tinkerbell nightlight at $1.99
A Green "Peace" picture frame for $1.99
2 boxes of cake mix at $.39 each
2 cans of frosting at $.39 each
No Damage hair ties 2 at $.75 each
A table cloth at $1.25

It had a lot more than I expected there to be.

Went late this afternoon...Tons of ornaments, wrapping paper, stockings and TONS of trees. The place was a mess! But I managed to get:

Set of two 3 foot lighted trees in decorative containers. $11.00!!!! :goodvibes
red tablecloth (much needed) $2.50
1 box of candy cane brownie mix .99
2 different cookie mixes .99
And the thing that made me most happy! 5 boxes of Reynolds Wrap tinfoil (they have snowflakes on them) for .74 each! :) Yes...odd things make me happy. I actually found them with the regular tinfoil.:)

They will not price adjust for clearance. You'd have to hope they still have the chair cushions, buy them at 75% off, then return them with the first receipt.

I went to two Targets today (Kissimmee FL). One was at 50% off and had almost nothing left. The other was at 75% off and had lots (well, they did when I arrived).

WOW, I was really surprised yesterday to find that our Target was still at 50% and that there was 1/10th the stuff of other years. I usually get all my 'acquaintences' gifts for next year at the stores after Xmas. Luckily, I still have lots of bags and ribbons left, but I was hoping to restock lights.

I'm in Hawaii and ours went 75% off today. I grabbed some stocking stuffers, wrap, baking stuff, door mat and holiday cd's.

I went to one in Oaks, PA today. It was 75% off and had a decent amount of stuff. No wrapping paper that I saw, but plenty of little stocking stuffers and candy. Got some small games/megablocks sets for the kids, as well as candy, cake mix, and marshmellows. There were some ornaments, clothing, and nicknacks, too. May hit another Target tomorrow if I have time.

Our Maryland Target is at 75% off. I bought all the paper products for next year's family Christmas party today.

The one closest to me in Spring Hill was 50% I drove a few miles and the one in Franklin was 75% off. I got a $250 tree for $63!! So excited!!

The Target's near me (I went to 4 this afternoon) were all at 75% off. I didn't buy alot for myself......cookie and muffin baking mixes (dd likes to bake and these make it easy), coffee, some bakery cookies for New Years Eve and New Years Day parties, and a couple of gift card holders. I did buy 8 four packs of the Target brand peppermint lattes (bottled) for dd and found 6 crank flashlights (the red box gifts) for $1.25 each. I buy small gifts for everyone on my staff, and thought these would be good for the guys next year. (now, only 36 gifts to go!!).

I also lucked into 3 rolls (100 feet each) of wide gold ribbon for a school event (so I get reimbursed).

My big spending, however, was for a local layette program through Catholic charities. I bought almost $250 worth of infant clothes and blankets (the Christmas ones) that were valued at $1000. My mom and I host a ladies luncheon every year. The luncheon is free, with a donation of some kind (money, or infant clothes). Most of the ladies know I do my bargain shopping, so they donate dollars. I shop all year round and get reimbursed after the luncheon each year.
