Target Clearance this year

Two of ours hit 90% today. The third one we checked was still at 70%. Lots of stuff left at the two that went 90%. I got gift bags, wrapping paper, a few shirts/baby outfits, stocking stuffers (sets of hair accessories, Cars PEZ, mini princess dolls, etc.) and even a Snapware case. The case wasn't supposed to be on clearance, but it had a chip in the lid, so they gave it to me for $.79!! Even if the lid breaks, we have a ton of Snapware to which we can add the compartments.

I need to check Target here tomorrow. They had been at 70% off but I was holding off for 90% off to snag a roll of Justin Bieber wrapping paper. DH's birthday is coming up and it would be perfect to wrap his present in!

I found some expected deals last night. I bought Razor A2 scooters reg $40 for $11, the softball glove my DD was asking for and a bat bag at 50% off and some large rubbermaid food containers at 70% off. The Christmas was really picked over, the toys were mostly 50% except the legos they were only 30%.

Our Target was 90% as well. Only 2 isles left (usually there is a lot more).

Our Target is 90% off and I found more than I expected, but not for Christmas. I got 2 rolls of plain blue wrapping paper for 50 cents each, 3 plain blue disposable tableclothes for 35 cents each and lots of plain blue, purple and lime green ribbon and bows. My daughter's favorite color is blue (and she likes purple and green) and her birthday is in February. :cool1:

I also bought her a toy at 50% off and another toy for her friend's birthday party next week at 50% off.

Also, both our Targets have large black Mickey bowls in the serving ware section of the store. They must have them tagged as Christmas. They were normally $9.99 and I got them for 99 cents! The tag on the shelf says $9.99 and no clearance sign.
Now I have to return the 2 that I paid $5 for when their stuff was on 50% off. What's funny is that there are matching cereal size bowls right next to them and they are not marked down. And the pink bowls with a bow are not either. :confused3 I think it must have been a pricing mistake.

I had also found 3 Mickey pants and feet popcorn bowls on Monday when they were 75%. I think they were $3.49 each. They will be great for pasta salads at DD birthday party.

I found the black Mickey Ear bowls on clearance too, I also found the red cereal size bowls were on clearance so I think it might have been the ones that came in when they rolled out the Christmas dinnerware so the line all got marked down so the red and some of the black bowls should be marked down, same for the mickey feeted popcorn bowls, I didn't think I would find much at my target but after I got home I had 5 bags BRIMMING with stuff and spent $47 the reciept says I saved $419!!:banana::cool1::cool1:

We had the Mickey dishes, too, but I snagged the last of it at 70%. They had the large black bowls, Mickey hand plates and red bowls. The plates had a Christmas wrapper, so I just assumed the other things would be 70% off, too, and they were!! Still wish they'd switch back to 75%. I understand they want to make more money, but I still wish.

I've been stalking the place for the last few days. I also bought Scotch tape. What was left was in the stationary department. I bought a three pack for $.30. Lots of candy canes, bows and gift bags. I purchased some of the gift bags, $.15 to $.50 price range. Assorted left over ornaments from the bins, lots of PEZ, and assorted junk stocking stuffers, cookie mix and other kits. I was waiting for the bows and only purchased one package 10 count, $.40 for a larger bow with various ribbon finish. All the bows are red. There was a section in housewares that had the piggy banks, lots of them and lots of the Mickey hand plates. I bought a pack for myself and a pack each for my two sisters. They will get them next year. This housewares section still had the 70% off sign. I don't think people know its there. Oh yeah, I also bought two stockings at $.10. I will use these to put gifts in for the godchildren.

I got the large black bowls at 50%. They look like chip bowls and the ears are for dip. I got them to use as easter baskets for the kids. I did get a plate and a cup last year.

It is harder for me to do the math at 70% vs 75% lol.

It took forever for them to go to 70%. Wednesday, they still had it at 70% one little row of stuff was left.

I live by the mall so I thing mine gets more traffic than the ones that are not by the mall.

Yes! 90% off today (and extra 5% with Red card). Bought lots of stockings and bags. Still had great selection.

Thanks! I just came from Target and got those mickey bowls for $1! Funny, right next to it were pink bowls and smaller mickey bowls and both of them were full price. Yikes!

Thanks! Our store still had a bunch left and for .99cents I grabbed one. :thumbsup2

I got most of the Mickey items at 50% They did still have some bowls so I returned the one I paid $4.99 for and got one for .99. Now I want the pink one to match!!!:thumbsup2

Our Target was at 90% off but there wasn't much left. Some celebrity wrapping paper and bows and other odds and ends were moved to a back area and there was little to choose from.
