Anyone have success with Rakuten tracking? It says “using coupon codes not listed on Rakuten will void cash back.” I know YMMV, but would love some DP’s!

Purchased via Rakuten, but don’t see anything in account, yet.
Anyone try the Capital One portal? I’ll be bummed if I don’t get the Rakuten, but Capital One works. FOMO here.

Now the second order is tracking. Should be good for around 21,000 AMEX MR points.

Stuck in limbo and not sure what to do, for those who haven't seen; my tickets through Tripadvisor were cancelled AFTER I had already upgraded the tickets to annual passes through Disney. Tripadvisor said I can call and rebook with the discount but the annual passes are still linked on my profile and I haven't heard anything from Disney about them being cancelled. I know in all likelihood Disney will find out eventually and cancel the annual passes and refund me the money I spent to upgrade. But what if they never do and now I basically have annual passes for $240 each.

I will probably end up just buying the tickets again and waiting to see what Disney does on their end.

Any updates on your situation? I'm hoping to do the same as you and upgrade tickets to APs.
Do the AP vouchers you upgraded to have an expiration date?

I think it was a fraud situation with your credit card. maybe due to high $$ amounts in close succession.

I read all the fine print before doing the second transaction & found *nothing* limiting it to one per household, one transaction , e.t.c.
It was one code per circle account.

I did two transactions, one Disneyland tickets. one Disney world. two legit circle accounts. Same name. Same credit card. no cancellations or issues.

I may be mistaken, but "tracking" just means a shopper used the Rakuten extension or went through their site so it's successfully logged as a rakuten transaction, right? Cash back isn't known for sure until after TA/Viator confirms the sale and approves it as CB eligible?

Unfortunately, I bought too early, as I have a fixed party date and didn't want to risk a sellout: so only 4% vs 10% or 12% CB.

I seem to have the worst luck trying to time Rakuten CB: I either buy something big and non-refundable a day before they blow out some 2x, 4x, or 10x cash back promo - or wait for a better deal and the price on the stupid thing skyrockets in the meantime!

I did two transactions thru Rakuten. And they both are showing as pending at this moment. First transaction 10/3 second 10/4. Crossing my fingers!

No update from Disney at all.
After upgrading they work just like any other annual pass, the become active the first day you use them

Yes there’s still a waiting period before it is confirmed. It could be voided but we’ll see.

Go through customer service! Rakuten is very good at resolving those issues as long as you clicked through the right way.

Well, technically the T&Cs say it doesn’t include cash back if promo codes are used. I was just hoping it would at least track for a time.

Update on this. Called in today and the lady pretty much said I would have to rebook by tonight. She was able to send me two different links to rebook with the discount code applied to each one. I think I am just going to buy them again and if for whatever reason Disney doesn't cancel the annual passes I have already upgraded to I will just try and push the dates back for the tickets and then use them to renew our current annual passes that expire in May.

I have a AP that expires in Jan 27th… can I use this promo to get normal tickets, that later Disney will accept for the renewal? If so, value will be at the gate price?
