Target $10 gc with $50 purchase coupon

You all have been SO helpful. I printed a bunch of coupons this morning and my mom and I went to Target. I bought 3 in electronics and the guy read the fine print and said he could not process anymore. Then I went up front and bought two and my mom bought two. Then we had to go across town for another errand and stopped at another another Target. My mom and I both bought several with no problem.

In total I bought $ 900 worth of gift cards to pay for our Annual passes next week. I have $ 180 in Target Gift Cards.

I felt like I was breaking the law though the whole time. I am such a fule follower and was nervous the whole time.

I did the same thing and felt great afterwards. I felt even better when I took those target gift cards and purchased more Disney Gift Cards. What a deal. Thanks to everyone who had anything to do with this deal getting out to all of us.:banana::banana:

So you didnt have to do separate transactions for each card to use the coupon? I was thinking maybe you had to do them separate because the coupon only states on a $50 purchase so if it was over $50 it would still only allow one coupon...

I went to the electronics section and asked the associate if I could use multiiple coupons per transaction. I was buying $500 worth of $50 Disney cards. He said he didn't know but would try. So the first transaction I did just 2 gift cards (total $100) and he applied 2 coupons. I then did two other transactions (4 gift cards each) and used 4 coupons for each transaction. It worked great!

I had printed more coupons than I would use so on my way out of the store I handed them out to people with full carts. A little pixie dust and Christmas spread around.

I had to share also. Over two days of going to two different Target stores I have:
$ 2150 in disney cards
$ 10 in google gift card (to use my last target $10 card

Total $2160
I paid $1739 for a 24.2% savings ($421).
Used my target card several times for extra% off, used 2 $8off 80 coupons and when I used my free target gift cards I used coupons with them so I saved 20% off my free money also. I felt like a criminal also but if Target doesn't say anything I'll enjoy my free $421.

I was able to buy 3 of the $50 cards today in one transaction! I had a cart full of stuff and the cashier noticed I had gist cards and coupons in my hand, so she put in all one one receipt and I left with 3 $10 Target cards.

I did not have to do separate transactions for each card. I did 3 transactions (total of 10 Disney GC) with coupons for each card. So two of my transactions I used four coupons. I think it depends upon the associate who waits on you. The system was fine with taking all 4 coupons. I asked the associated before we started and he said he would give it a try and it worked!

Thanks everyone for posting this awesome deal! Loaded up the kids and hubby tonight and hit 2 targets! We ended up with $140 in target gift cards which I just ended up using all but $30 to pay for the Disney gift cards! I was able to go to multiple registers in the store and use 3 coupons at a time! I actually went through one register twice ... Felt pretty dumb but it was worth it for the savings!

I was only allowed to use one coupon per transaction. The coupon says that quite clearly and the cashier cited it. Just an FYI. So I made a $130 purchase (one item) and used one coupon on it.

Well, it says one coupon per guest and transaction. So if 6 guests come through the line, shouldn't they allow 6 coupons in a transaction? I don't know. But if t were strictly one coupon per transaction then why say per guest and transaction and why have your system allow a maximum of 4 per transaction rather than 1?

Anyway, I don't argue with how they want to do it. If I have to leave and come back in and go to different lines, so be it. I am grateful that they didn't force me to do that.

Here's my tale. Not a complete success, but not a failure either.

Went yesterday. Electronics department had gift cards, but no Disney. :worried:

Up at the checkout, they had the $25 gift cards. Picked up two.

Also had knee highs and a Christmas card. Checked out with the four items and a coupon, and yes I did get a gift card.

Was going to go out later yesterday, but didn't. Too tired. And I was too busy today. And I didn't really want to end up with a bunch of $25 gift cards.

Ended up with two $25 Disney gift cards and a $10 Target card. I already had over $1,000 in gift cards, and my trip isn't until next fall. And my local grocery store (Remkes...strictly a Cincinnati store) has 4X pump perk points on gift cards through Christmas Eve.

I had someone come over to the cashier and tell her that she can't use the coupon on a gift card. This was my fifth transaction, second with this cashier. I told this person that disney cards were classified as entertainment cards and he told me that doesn't matter. He didn't make her stop the transaction though. And she told me good thing he doesn't know this is the second time, wink wink. Decided I wouldn't argue with the guy and moved on to a second target.

In total I got $550 in disney cards, paid $432 using my red card, and have a $10 target gift card left. Was going to do more at the second target but the guys in the electronics dept were getting annoyed with me and the lines at the front were huge. Oh well.

Wow! I want to thank the OP! I saw something about the $10 off on my Facebook page, but I didn't plan on spending more than $50 at Target this week so I ignored it. I stumbled on this thread today and was excited. I printed out about 30 of the coupons to have extras to hand out. I used 20 of them . I bought gift cards for our upcoming Christmas trip. We are getting DVC PAPs and I was planning to use my Disney Rewards but we would have still had to pay $650 in cash. Not any more! I'll be using my Disney Gift cards! I figured we would easily spend another $350 in 9 days in food alone so bought a cool $1K and pocketed $200 in Target gift cards. It's like money for nothin' and The Mouse for free :thumbsup2.

Something crazy happened to me when I was buying them. The cashier could only take 4 coupons per transaction, so we were doing $200 transactions. After the 4th $200 transaction my credit card company thought there was something fishy going on and froze my card. I had to call to get it unfrozen and the cashier suspended my transaction to take the next person. We had chatted in line and I gave her a coupon to use for her purchase. The cashier must have automatically set aside my $800 worth of cards down at the end of the bagging area when she helped the lady. I thought she still had them in the bag holder in front of her. When the lady behind me picked up her purchases I noticed that she picked up what appeared to be a bag of gift cards :scared1:. I asked the cashier, "Where are my other cards?" and she got them back from the lady. Whew! The lady said she was sorry. I don't know if it was an honest mistake or an attempt to steal my cards but I have to say that it would have REALLY sucked if she walked out with them. I don't know if Target would have replaced $800 worth of activated cards or if I could have cancelled them and gotten my money back or if I would have just been out $800. I am very glad I didn't need to find out.

As I understand it, I can now take my $200 worth of Target gift cards and buy a $200 prepaid Visa card. I may do that or my DD really wants an iPad and we couldn't afford with our upcoming trip and all, but now with my $200 windfall she might get one :bride:.

DH & I purchased A LOT yesterday of the $50 Disney GC. We used our Discover card because they have a 5% cash back promo going on for retail stores as well as a separate promo that if you spend $1500 before 12/31 you get an additional $100 cash back. Nice!

But what I find strange is that we never did get a call from Discover fraud dept! In the past, I have been literally sitting in the car at a gas station & my DH is in paying with Discover & they will call me. We did Every. Single. Transaction. Separately. Each $50 exactly. Lots of them. 3 different Targets. Odd.

But I really wanted to say THANKS OP!!!! :cool1::cool1::cool1:

Much appreciated.

What's the Discover card promo for the additional $100 back when you spend $1,500? I haven't seen that one. Thanks.

...no promises, but last year, they ran this deal two successive weekends! I'm exhausted!

I was told one coupon per person. Anyone else?

I've gone in 4 seperate times, twice i was only allowed one coupon. The other two times the associates had no problem using 4 coupons per transaction.

We just got a mailer about 2 weeks ago that said to call & sign up for the promo. Maybe try calling them and see if they are offering it to everyone. :thumbsup2

Was not able to buy a Disney GC today:(. Cashier pointed out it said no gc's. I said I thought only Target gc's she replied no ALL cc's
