Target $10 gc with $50 purchase coupon

Just a couple of quick tips:

1) Target's system allows them to scan 4 coupons per transaction. At least at my local store. The first time through the line, my family of 6 tried to buy 24 cards. The cashier was only comfortable letting me use 6 coupons (and I don't push them to do anything they aren't comfortable with). But the systems would allow her to scan only 4 coupons, so she had to do a second transaction. Anyway, I only mention this because you may not have to do a separate transaction for each. BTW, ultimately we went back into a different line and the cashier was fine scanning the remaining 18 coupons in 5 separate transactions.

.

I was only allowed to use one coupon per transaction. The coupon says that quite clearly and the cashier cited it. Just an FYI. So I made a $130 purchase (one item) and used one coupon on it.

This has probably been covered, but can someone tell me where the Disney gift cards are located in the store?

I know where all of the various Target gift cards are located, but dont recall seeing Disney gift cards.

Thanks for any advice!

In the electronics section, there are gift cards (non Target). Besides Disney, there is usually iTunes, Starbucks, etc.

You can also find them in the Electronics area. They usually have a large assortment of what they call entertainment cards.

I went to the electronics section and asked the associate if I could use multiiple coupons per transaction. I was buying $500 worth of $50 Disney cards. He said he didn't know but would try. So the first transaction I did just 2 gift cards (total $100) and he applied 2 coupons. I then did two other transactions (4 gift cards each) and used 4 coupons for each transaction. It worked great!

I had printed more coupons than I would use so on my way out of the store I handed them out to people with full carts. A little pixie dust and Christmas spread around.

Just so I understand. You pay the full price of the gift card, but then a $10 Target gift card prints out after your purchase? So when you bought 2 you got 2 $10 gift cards? and when you bought 4 you got 4 $10 gift cards?

Is it something that prints out on the receipt?

Doesn't print on the receipt. It's an actual $10 Target Gift card that the cashier activates.

For example, on my first transaction, I did the following:

1) Purchase two $50 Disney entertainment cards (they aren't considered gift cards so the coupons will work on these)
2) Hand two coupons to cashier good for $10 Target Gift cards off $50 purchase
3) Cashier activates the Disney Gift cards and also activates two $10 Target gift cards
4) I use my RedCard for an additional 5% off.
First total was $95. On my next two transactions I could use the $10 Target gift cards from my previous transactions.

Thanks for the information. I just purchased $300 with of gift cards for $250. I don't shop at Target often, It's out of the way on the way home, so I don't have a reddot card. But I purchased $250 worth of Target Gift Cards at Krogers to buy the Disney Gift Cards. Kroger was giving 4X fuel point on gift cards so I have $1.00 off a gallon of gas as well.

FYI Today the register was printing 10 off 100 coupons. I got one when I bought my groceries this morning.

For those of you who were able to do multiple coupons in one transaction consider yourselves lucky! I am always fearful of using more than one coupon at a time for something, so I was being very brave and decided to try two at a time. Of course I got stopped. I was told that the Manager had just told all the cashiers that they only were allowed to accept one of those coupons per customer period. I ended up just using one, then making 3 separate trips back into the store and went to different cashiers each time. I felt like I was going to get stopped by security because if anybody watches security cameras they would have thought it fishy of me to keep leaving and coming back. Anyways, I got through it all and was happy to have the savings. Good luck all!

Doesn't two forms of payment mean mean like gift card and credit card? But then you can use as many gift cards as you want.

I just purchased annual passes and was able to use 25 gift cards. I have been collecting them throughout the year and finished up with the Target promotion. DVC was not able to process them, but they put us through to the regular line and she was able to do it. Of course, I waited on hold about 25 minutes. We are very excited since this is the first time we have had annual passes!

That's a shame you had to go through that. My store had a "coupon" at the registers and the team members were scanning them for eveyone that had a $50 purchase. I said to my cashier, "I guess you don't need mine. " and she said, "No, you can have two." and scanned her's and mine and gave mine back to me.
