Target $10 gc with $50 purchase coupon

I just went last night and got the $8 off $80...I can't use that for Target GiftCards or gift cards, can I? Anyone have any luck with that?

Any way to print this coupon without installing the coupon printer? I can't install the program on my work computer & don't have a printer at home!!!

Depending on your setup at home, this may or may not work. I don't know. But it's worth a try.

1) Even though you don't have a printer at home, you should have a printer profile or a way to install a printer on your home PC.

a) Go to your control panel
b) Go to Printers and Other Hardware
c) Go to View installed printers or fax printers
d) Hoping Adobe PDF is one of the :"printers:" in the folder. If it's there, make sure it is checked. (If not, try Acrobat, but I don't think that will help.)

2) Install the coupon printer on your home computer

3) Print the coupon. Instead of going to your home computer, your coupon will convert to a PDF file. Make sure you save the file to a place where you know you will remember where it is. Probably your desktop.

4) Email the PDF file to your computer at work.

5) Print at work.


This isn't a guarantee it will work. A lot depends on your "printer" setup at home. But if all works right, it should work.

DH just printed off the coupon, went to Target, got ONE $50 Disney gift card. Went to check out and the manager came running over and told him he absolutely could NOT use the coupon on the gift card and pointed out the fine print excluding gift cards. DH said he was under the impression that was for Target gift cards and asked if the cashier could swipe it to see if it worked. Manager said no...the coupon will immediately be voided if he chooses to break the terms and conditions of the coupon. So no luck for us.

Next closest Target is 30 minutes away...afraid to make the drive if just going to be turned away again. Was planning on using quite a few of these as we leave in 2 weeks for our Christmas/New Years trip!

Ouch. That hurts. What I think I'll do is buy a candy bar along with the gift card. Maybe I wouldn't get the manager-who-doesn't-know-anything involved. I'd try it tonight..with a Reeses cup, a different cashier and hopefully a different manager.

I do have one question regarding the coupon printer. Can you install it on an iPhone? I'm limited to the home computer, and two coupons.

The thing is he didn't even ask for a manager. She just came running over as soon as DH handed the cashier his coupon!

It makes me wonder if maybe corporate send out an email or something telling the stores not to allow this? I'm really hoping it's an isolated incident and we'll see more reports of others being able to use it! If so, I'll head to the other Target tomorrow!

Definitely won't work for everyone. I have a pdf printer installed at home and the coupon program tells me that I can't print to a PDF file.

Our Target's "Entertainment cards" are located in an endcap close to the video department. There are all kinds of restaurant cards, starbucks, bass pro, gosh, I never really looked at them all since Disney cards are all I really need! The iTunes cards are on another endcap in my Target and I'm not sure they are classified as Entertainment cards or not. I haven't tried to buy those.

My DH went this morning, and was told the same thing by the cashier. He was very frustrated and bought a card anyway (WHY???). However, I had no problems at the same one last night. I called and asked to speak with a manager - who confirmed that YOU CAN use it on the entertainment cards. I am to go back later and the manager will fix it she said, after apologizing profusely. GiftCard is their branding of gcs. Disney is an Entertainment Card in their system.

I just got back from target! I feel like I just robbed them.LOL I bought 7 50.00 gift cards and got a 50.00 and a 25.00 disney gift card and a free Starbucks. So 430.00 worth of gift cards for only 350.00. I am officially done with Christmas shopping!

Weird. You can use a Target gift card as payment for the Disney entertainment card (I used one I had previously purchased at Target for my first purchase and then used the free $10 one for my second entertainment card).

Yikes - sorry that happened to you guys! I've read this a ton of times and my DH has been coached - they (Disney gift cards) aren't gift cards they are entertainment cards as we know but gosh for that to happen to you guys and not even try the coupon - geez! I hope it gets better for you and I agree with others, seems like you had a manager who had a rough day

Ok from experience (my husband works for Target and is a Team Leader) GiftCards means their branded gift cards & Visa Gift Cards (i.e. you can't buy a $50 Target GiftCard or Visa Gift Card and get the free $10 GiftCard) so the coupon should work for the restarutant/Disney/iTunes Entertainment Cards. Your best bet is to give it a shot (don't ask a team member they usually are misinformed lol)...the worst that can happen is the cash register will beep and wont accept the coupon, just say no thanks if the coupon doesn't work.

I don't Facebook, and can't install the coupon printer at work, so I guess I'll miss out on that savings - but I wanted to let you know I'll be going by the Athens Target this afternoon to get my Disney gift cards to finish paying for my trip this weekend!

I will use my red debit card to get 5% off, so that's better than no savings at all I suppose!
