I really want one. They are sooooo good. I'm watching Andrew Zimmern eat one right now. I like eating weird foods, but Tarantulas will forever be my favorite. Scorpions and snake are good, too.

I've eaten ants too. Being a picky eater, i would eat a scorpia, but only if i could pick off the tail and the head and the pinches. ugh! I dont want to eat anything sharp or anything that once contained brain matter.

It's not gross. If you couldn't tell what it was, you would probably really like it. It's kind of like beef, from what my taste buds have told me. Scorpion tastes JUST like Soft shell crab. Snake tastes like... snake. There's no comparision you can make, but it can tastes very good.

My mom ate squirrel when she went to Alabama with her then husband. She didn't know it was squirrel at the time though.
