I don't think TAPS faked anything. They are all about debunking claims not trying to make things work to say the place is haunted. Plus I have a hige crush on Grant.

That is the reason I loved this show so much when I first started watching it, and have stuck with it - they aren't out to prove but to disprove, and when they do find something, it's pretty impressive! And yeah, Grant sure is nice to look at....*sigh*

The EVP was amazing but the week before with the flashlight WOW How freaky was that??

That was THE coolest thing I've ever seen on one of their shows!!! I think Jason was genuinely weirded out by that one...!

It was fun to watch a TAPS episode that took place in my own backyard (well, a little futher than that, but not much! ). We've been by that resort several times and I've always wondered about it. Now I know!!

I don't believe they fake anything. If they were going to, I think we'd see some full body apparitions. I remember one freaky shadow they caught at Eastern State Pen in PA, but can't think of anything else like that. The majority of the audio and visual evidence they find are a lot of EVPs and some objects moving on film (remember the camera crewperson who got knocked down by his bag flying up?).

The last few weeks have had some ones that made me go . The flashlight coming on at Wright Patterson, the picture frame moving at the hotel near Gettysburg, and now this.

One place I'd love to see them investigate but would never happen in a million years -- the Lincoln Bedroom in the White House. Wright Patterson is one thing, but the President's residence is another.

Locally here in Richmond there are two places I'd love them to investigate. First is Hollywood Cemetery, resting place of two US presidents and several thousand Confederate soldiers. Second is the store where my DW has worked for years. She's experienced a few things -- objects moving, wind chimes on display suddenly tinkling like someone brushed them, and she's seen something on the security camera that looks like someone walking through the store when she was the only one in there. I highly doubt her company would go for it, though the mall management might.

I love Ghosthunters and I did see the episode. All I can say is that is one creepy resort. The only other one that is even creepier is the hotel in Colorado where Stephen King visited and was inspired to write The Shining. I see that TAPS will be headed that way (a rerun maybe???) on an upcoming episode. I'm looking forward to that one too.

Do I think the EVP was faked--nah, if they were into trickery, they would find many more "haunted" locations than not. On Ghosthunters, at least from my point of view, there are very few investigations that ultimately result in the TAPS crew believing the location is actually haunted. That truly was chilling though wasn't it?

I do not think they faked it either but then I felt like maybe I was being naieve. It was unreal and IMHO spoke less of a haunting and more of a parallel time continumum. I cannot even belive I am saying this but reallyit sounds like somthing out of Star Trek. I know they did not fake it but it was so unreal that it was hard to believe.

It was creepy especially with the dialect. I don't think they faked it. I've sat through too many episodes where not much happens to think they faked that.

YES I picked up on the Maine/NH accent also. It also sounded like one of those actresses in a 1940's movie!

I must say that I missed the ep, but that I do love visiting Bretton Woods. They're only about an hour/45 minutes from where I live so I get up there often enough. I'll have to try to catch it on re-runs now!

You do not need to catch the reruns just watch it on your computer. All the episodes are on the Sci Fi website the day after they air and they stay there for quite a long time.

I think some of the creepiest EVP's I've heard from TAPS were the ones at the Manson house. The voice on the EVP sounded like it was in such distress.

DH and I STILL talk about that one - "There is no Jean..." CREEPY!!!! The idea of the EVP from this week being fake never occurred to us. There are other shows (like "Most Haunted") where I'm sure they exaggerate things or somehow make things happen. But I've never gotten that impression from the guys at TAPS.

No one has found any evidence of it being faked or altered, but what I love about those boards is you end up with really intelligent discussions about debunking evidence of all types. Everything that I have thought about, including possible radios or televisions being caught on the recorder, do not seem to pan out as plausible. The biggest thing about the evidence that screams at me that it may truly well be the princess is that it is responding to them and that it seemed to confirm their identity.
