Sooo...school and work are keeping me busy. We are photographing all the livestock events at the fair, so next week is going to be CRAZY! I hope I can make enough money to buy my disk from my MK photo shoot. I keep lurking on the website and trying different log ins, but no pics are up yet.
I also came down with MRSA almost 2 weeks ago. We finally have it under control with major antibiotics, but I'm still feeling pretty crummy. Dan the man also has a form of MRSA that gave him Pneumonia. We knew he was really sick and he had a course of antibiotics, but he just kept getting worse. He was really ill while we were doing our MK shoot, but didn't want to cancel it again, so we drugged him up. When we went to the dr the next day, she wanted to put us in the hospital! I suppose standing in 30 degree weather for 4 hrs wasn't the brightest idea. But at least we are all on the mend.
So while I've been moping around the house, I did start my invites. They look gorgeous, but are very labor intensive. If I find out any of our relatives throws one of these in the trash, I'm gonna strangle them!!!
I don't know how brides can make like 100 of these things! I've managed to complete 4 and I am only making 30 and its going to take me several weeks!
I have managed to upload a few more pics into photobucket. Here I am on the staircase:
These were really awkward to shoot b/c there were people EVERYWHERE. I figured they would all be off the boat, but by this point, we had managed to get quite a following. They were also setting up the flashes and backdrops below me for the ship's photographers, so we had all that, AND the staircase that I really wanted by the ginormous Christmas Tree was roped off. Not allowed. Boohoo!
Then Imran found us! He walked up to me with my bouquet!!!

It was gorgeous! He said that he usually leaves them in the cabin, but he didn't want us to take any more pics without it. He knew where to find us b/c he said all the staff and everyone was making such a fuss about us. LOL!
This is one of those times when I really did feel like a princess. There were two other brides on this ship, and I didn't see them. (Although I wouldn't mind). But we weren't like competing, or waiting on each other. We were treated like royalty the entire time. People would stop to help us, or give us congratulations, or give us treats. Just everyone, including the staff was super nice.
Use of border to crop out ugly tourists.
This is one of those times that it is hard to capture the right angle with the tripod. But it was still cute.
I have more of me with my shoe up on the stairs - my cinderella moment! But they are really silly. DH kept telling me to look surprised, and I just kept laughing. I would try to make a face, but I am a terrible actress. Then he would frown at me and I would laugh, and we would have to start all over again.
Plus there were these two old women watching me on the deck above me and I could here them laughing at my attempts of acting shocked about my shoe. They were not helping the situation.
The whole time we were in the lobby, you could hear people see us and say, "Awww" or "Wow" or "Look a Bride and Groom!". It was just really cute.
