Tangierine Cafe Dessert?

Hi, we're on the QSDP and thought this place looked great and the reviews I have read seemed mostly positive. For those who have been there on the dining plan, is baklava the ONLY dessert? The pastry case I've seen in pics online has other desserts, but reviews seem to say they could only get bakalva? I'm just not into it, so if we could get something chocolate or fruit that would be preferred. Any experiences people could share? Thanks!!

I've eaten there every single trip and I've never gotten anything other than baklava. I have to think they would have something more generic that is served at every QS - Especially for kids - But I never paid much attention. If you really don't want the baklava, and they have nothing else (which I really doubt - they gotta have another option!) you could always get an extra water.

I know! The pastry case pictures I've seen had some kind of chocolate thing and some kinds of muffins (that my kids would like!), but I don't know if those could be included or not? I'm just not a nut person, so baklava doesn't do it for me. I'm down with everything else on the shwarma platter and my Avengers loving son is excited to try shwarma! But, yeah, it may just have to be a water!

Unfortunately, baklava is the only dessert option on the DDP. They had a lot of delicious looking desserts and I was so disappointed when they said we could only get baklava! I'm not a fan of baklava (I've tried it several times, and several flavors) and gave it a try anyway...but it didn't change my mind about it. LOL Honestly, though, the portion size of the schawarma platters are so large I'd be surprised if you have room for dessert!

The baklava is the only downside to that place while on the DDP, but I am so full after my meal that I don't even eat it, and give it away.

Thanks! I'll be splitting the platter because yes, it looks huge! Hopefully hubby will be able to help after his bratwurst from Germany. I guess I'll request a water bottle then. I'm really happy we got free dining, but some of these kinds of things are annoying! I'd love to use the dessert at France bakery instead, and paying OOP gives you that freedom. Oh well!

OR...now, with the new changes (!) I think I'll request marinated olives or extra pita bread instead of the baklava! Thank again for everyone's input!
