Hi Michelle, I live about 30 miles from WDW toward Tampa and the Tampa Intl Airport is another approx 49 miles from me....so estimate (depending on traffic) about 1 1/2 hrs. Former NYer here good luck with the fares

Usually takes me about an hour and 15-20 minutes -- but every now and then you can hit a doozie of a traffic jam.

75 mins is my best time...sometimes a bit longer, but not any longer than 90 mins. I routinely stay at a Doubletree that is about 3 miles from TPA...and that's how long it takes to get there.

Wow you do better than me. I go to Clearwater every spring for baseball. I only go to WDW every other year because each time we do the trip, we get so frustrated at the 275/60/TPA merge that we swear we will never do it again. Of course after 1 year off we do it again and repeat the cycle.

If you can miss the traffic, its a very doable trip. One year we flew to TPA, went to Busch Gardens then to WDW and the flew home from MCO

BTW if you are talking about the Doubletree on the Lagoon near the causeway, i always thought that building looked a little like the contemporary

I agree with others on the time estimates. The distance is 72 miles from the airport to the first WDW exit.
