Tall people's height problems on rides (big boy syndrome)

My DH is 6'9" (230 lbs.) and goes on all the rides, but some do hurt. Luckily Disney hasn't told him he's too tall. We went to 6 Flags a year ago and he was told he couldn't ride on most of the roller coasters. I was so angry because I felt like they should have a sign up somewhere and also only charge him a CHILD's price!

I can sympathize with the height issue. I'm 5'9" and dh is 6'3". To make it more interesting, were both pooh sized and hubby is built like a linebacker. Some tips for the next trip-Space is best in the back 2 seats of each car. Most coasters and rides the front seat is roomier, this is a notable exception. We ride Splash with one of us in each row, not width issues here, but leg room! It's simply not comfortable without enough room to stretch the legs. We get off easier then some, neither of us is long legged. As for being crammed in a row, we sometimes make a point of splitting up our groups. When the cm asks how many it's 2 and the rest of party does it seperately. Our one trip on Pirates with 4 of us(all pooh sized) in one row was interesting! Good thing we we're already close friends Don't be afraid to tell the cast members if you need something different, 5 in a row does not work for my friends!

my DH is 6'10" and about 290 lbs with a size 14 shoe. He has ridden Space Mountain once, but he will never go on again since it was just too uncomfortable. The best thing to d is ask for the front cars of things. Like on RNRcoaster...ask for the front row of each little car. My DH, god bless him, is so used to wiggling to fit and sitting crooked. Despite being so broad and tall, he can fit pretty well.
