We went to WDW last summer and we are going again this summer. We heard about the talking trash can at Epcot. We couldn't find it so we asked some one that worked there and THEY DIDN'T EVEN KNOW! I was really surprized no one knew where it was. Well does any one know where it is?

I think there is talking drinking fountains too.

There's a talking trashcan named Push who lives in Tomorrowland in MK. :) Just ask about him in Mickey's Star Traders.

In addition to the MK trash can, the other one is at Rafiki's Planet Watch (conservation station) at Animal Kingdom. We saw it back in September, and it was a real hoot.

We shamelessly sent our then 18 mo son over with a plastic water bottle to throw away. The trash can spun around to present the proper side for recycled materials and told him "you can put that in here." After he tossed in the bottle, the can responded with "Thank you! Good job!!!"

It was also harassing many of the passers-by, asking one guest wearing a grass skirt for a "hula demonstration", and frequently making "ahhhhhhh" sounds as small children peeked through the lid looking for someone inside the can.

We asked a CM at Epcot the location of the Talking Trashcan, in September 02. They told us there wasn't one, only in the MK. I'm glad to hear about the can in EU!

The talking fountain is a hoot. I stumbled on to it outside the restrooms near Innoventions. Caught my wife and asked her to fill my water bottle while I filmed something. I have a video of her trying to figure out just what the heck is going on. There are several different voices. The best is a sexy female voice that thanks you and says "next time you drink, I'll pour." Rich stuff.

The only time I have ever seen the talking trash can is in the AK. I have never seen anything talking in the other parks. On my last two AK visits I have seen the talking can. The first time was the most magical because my 4 Year old at the time was scared to death when it started to move and talk to her. She of course ran to her mother.

The trash can at the Electric Umbrella is a stationary, canned (no pun intended) message trash can. If it's still in the same place, it's by the condiment bar where you get burger fixings. It was there in December.
