I think the CMs at the Skyway Station are programmed-"open doors, everyone exit." We've often told the CM, when we get on at Epcot, that we're just going on a round trip to Caribbean and back (yeah, we're Skyway riders). Always, we have to get off, go around the corner and get back on...the same Skyway car.
and when you exit, walk all the way over that big solid yellow line and to the exit. Lol. In most cases, there are people getting off the cabins behind you. Don’t attempt to help with a stroller, hang on the doors, this slows and in most cases stops the line. If you stand in the front of the door, the operator can’t see, slow or stop the line if someone needs help. You are also putting yourself and the people attempting to exit the cabin in danger. Just walk across the yellow line, if the stroller or a person who can’t move to well is having a hard time, the operator will slow or stop the line.
Last thing you want is to dump a stroller into the pit between the cabins and three people standing in front of a moving cabin door trying to “help”.
Some people attempt to hold the cabin, I don’t care how big or strong you are, you won’t stop it.
Another thing to keep in mind, if anything you need to have, secure it before entering or exiting a cabin. You drop it in the pit, It won’t be retrieved till after operating hours, yes, even a cell phones, iPad, glasses you name it.
The only station you can fly through is Riv.
It is considered public transportation, no alcohol and shirt, shoes must be worn at all times.
Everyone follows those few simple steps, the line will move with less delays and stops.
