The non-freestyle cups varied in price when we were there last week. I saw some minion ones for $15-$16 which seemed high, but my son chose a tall green alien from the Men in Black shop for $6. The first drink was free, then they were $1.27 including tax. The rest of us got Butterbeer mugs, not sure how much they cost. We used these for 3 days with no further cost beyond the $1.27 per refill fee.

Okay so freestyle is $13 the first day and $6 each day after that. The regular ones are $1.15 per refill, but how much is it to buy the cup?

The "Regular" red cups are no longer sold. You have to buy a character cup or use the freestyle cups for this purpose. You can use the freestyle cup both ways, use your old red cup if you still have it, or buy a character cup. Was that your question?

Thanks for your response and your help. It's unnecessary for you to search for a list, I can google it myself. I mainly just wondering if you had to visit GS to get them, or they could be acquired at various locations in the park. You help is much appreciated!

Yes, I don't have any cups. It's crazy that the character cup prices vary so much.

Last I heard 12.99 plus tax. You can also get $1.19 refills at the booths out of these. They're considered refillable cups. Or just free water! It's a good free water cup.

So if you get one of these fancy cups, do you now have to stop and put it in a locker before every ride? I wanted the cup, but I'm trying to avoid the lockers I've read about.

The lockers are free, for a specified time period, at rides that require you use them.

To add to the complexity of the the refillable drink programs, I just read that if you purchase the quick-service dining plan you can add the freestyle cup for $6. Looks like that would save some money on the initial investment.

Just to prevent confusion for future people readying this. COKE refills are 1.27(1.19 no tax) not butterbeer! You pay the regular butterbeer price for refills. ($6 cold?)

Hahaha about the Cabana Bay cups!!! We were originally booked there but moved to Royal... for our 3 days it will be about $25 for us to have one Freestyle mug with unlimited use... I think that's a pretty good price to be honest. This has tremendously helped me, thank you everyone!!!

My biggest thing is that the Cabana Bay cups are different than the Universal cups. Why couldn't they just make it the same and make you activate it twice or something? IDK. Hope you have a good trip!

You don't happen to know if the popcorn buckets still work too? Clear with the red lid.
