We are in such a dilemma as to whether we should go to this party or not. It's our families first trip ever to disney next week. My kids, dd9, dd7 & ds5 love to trick or treat, but dh and I just can't see paying an extra $165 to do this. We will be in Disney for 7 days and plan to be in the MK 4 of them, do we really need to do this? We know the kids would love it but we've spent so much money all ready, but I know whats another $200 bucks. Tell me why we should do it or not. :disrocks:

Thanks all!! :teeth:

I know where you're coming from - it is a big chunk of change after you've already paid a bundle to get to WDW.

We went in 2003 when our kids were under 3, so we only paid for DH and I. We didn't stay long, but we loved how the park changed into Halloween theming, how the characters themselves dressed up for Halloween, and we loved watching all the people dressed up. It really is like a whole new Magic Kingdom. My son got his picture taken with the Pooh Characters in their Halloween costumes and he loved the parade. My son was Mickey and my daughter was Minnie. Oddly enough, one of my highlights of the night was a grandmother taking a picture of my daughter in her costume because she looked so cute. :goodvibes

We are going back to WDW in two weeks and there was no doubt we would do MNSSHP again. I'm very exicted because the kids (now almost 3 and 4 years old) are really into Halloween and the characters. I look forward to taking them to see more characters, to the dance parties and to finally watch Wishes in the MK instead of from outside the park.

If you can swing the cash, IMHO, I think it is really worth it and your kids will love it.

IMHO it is worth it just to see the way MK is transformed for the party. In addition to the Villians parade, I love watching all of the people in costume. They have fortune tellers and free face painting available. The fireworks are incredible. Much better than Wishes. I will be going once at the beginning of October and again toward the end of October just to get my Halloween fix.
