Talk chatterati to me

So, daylight savings have aligned for me now (East coast Australia is now on daylight savings and East Coast USA is off) so the show now airs at 5am Wednesday for me.
I also have an excellent Internet connection now, so can finally watch the shows! Yay!!
Anyway....
My alarm goes off anywhere between 5:15am-5:45am anyway, so now, I'll just get up when DH gets up (4:45am) and watch the show live!
Can anyone please explain where the chatterati go (I know you can watch live at YouTube and live stream, but where is the main chat and I know they had issues with live stream for a while there), how to access that and also, is there chatterati for the universal show too? (That would be 5am Friday for me)

Thanks peeps, and looking forward to chatting with y'all for the first time next week! (Or Friday if the universal show does it too)

the youtube live stream has a chat and that's where I find everyone. I assume universal is the same but I never watched it live.

Both the Livestream chat and the YouTube chat seem fairly active. Unfortunately, that has the effect of splitting the chatterati into two separate groups. If I'm not mistaken, though, whenever @DisneyKevin mentions the chatterati, he's looking at the Livestream chat room. But I'm not 100% sure. I know he frequents the boards, so maybe he can pop in and clarify.

Agree with the above posters. There are two places to go LiveStream and Youtube. There is live chat for the WDW show, The Trip, and the Universal show.

You can sign up for Livestream and follow The DIS (http://livestream.com/TheDIS) and you will get reminders when shows are upcoming and an email when the show starts. Both emails have the direct link to the show, or you can just go to LiveStream and search for The DIS.

I watch the shows on Livestream so read the Livestream chat as it posts. I haven't jumped into the deep waters and posted yet, but absolutely adore reading the Livestream chat. Funny and insightful bundled into one.

When I visit chat, it's on Livestream. I sometimes pop in just at the beginning on Tuesday but can't stay long due to work (that always gets in the way). I usually just come by to say hello. Maybe I'll "see" you there Jes.

When I get the chance to watch the show live, I'm usually taking a late lunch and have a sandwich in my hands/mouth. Livestream chat looks great but it also looks like some work . . . staying on top of the stream and getting those comments in quick. I enjoy my sammy & diet A&W root beer, sitting back and watching the show. Guilty pleasures! ps I read your posts Princess Jes & Steve. Excellent contributions But for now, think I'll eat & enjoy the fireworks from my ringside seat
