Talent show on ship

Hi. Has anyone participated in or seen the talent show offered on longer sailings? I'm needing to know what form of music we must bring that we want to use? In other words, are CD's okay or must it be on a thumb drive or something else. Thanks!

The only thing I have personally witnessed is people using music from their phones.

We've participated in the talent show twice. You need to have the music on your phone or other device that they can plug in and control. We didn't try a CD. We did bring it on a thumb drive (as well as phone just to have a second option) and were told that they can't plug anything into their computers (makes sense). Once we did it and it was in Azure (Wonder in Alaska) and once in D-Lounge (Magic in the Mediterranean).

Same thing. My daughter did this on the EBPC a couple of years ago. It was in D-Lounge as well. There weren't that many participants and they couldn't use a USB - had to be a headphone jack. We used her iPod and it worked fine.
