Taking "Time Off"

Right now I'm finishing my last class at my college (for my associates degree) and I'm going to a different college next fall for my bachelor's...

The CP site says this..."Students must be currently enrolled and taking classes in an accredited college or university in the United States and have completed at least one semester. Those who have taken college courses, but are currently taking "time off" from school are not eligible to apply."

So I am CURRENTLY enrolled and taking a class (it says part-time is okay) but I won't be taking any classes in the Spring 2010 (when I hope to do CP)...anyone know if this is OK with them or should I not waste my time applying? I tried calling them to ask about it but nobody answered

as long as you're enrolled when you apply, you're fine. I graduated in May 07' and was eligible to do the Fall Program that year from 8/07-01/08.

Pretty much everyone takes a break from school for the semester theyre on the CP. The only exceptions being those who take classes at Disney and their school awards them credit or if they take online classes to keep up with financial aid.

They just mean if youre taking this current semester off (fall 2009) you can't apply for this season (spring 2010).

As long as you are 18+, have done at least one semester, and are enrolled in at least one class when you apply/interview, you're eligible.
