Taking the city bus instead of ART - silly question

We're staying at Dolphin's Cove and the city bus runs right there along Harbor. We've been plagued by the afternoon breaks the ART has, plus it's more $$, so we're taking the city bus this time (tried parking every day last trip and we hated that too).

I know my stops.

But how do I tell them when I want to get off? I haven't ridden a bus in 20 years. Back then, there was a cable to pull shortly before the stop to sound a bell.

Oh, and we'll have a big stroller. I remember the door/stairs being really narrow. Do they have wider, wheelchair accessible doors? Is that a pain for them (and makes everyone on the bus annoyed as they wait?)? Do I need to fold my stroller up?

:goodvibes Thanks!

The city busses still have a cord running along the top you can pull to let the driver know to stop. The bus doors are wide (wheelchair accessible) so you won't have any trouble getting your stroller in or out but you will need to fold it up.
