Taking star wars galaxy edge coke bottles home

Hi guys,

I have empty coke bottles from Star Wars galaxy edge, 2 of them, I would love to take home with me. I only have a carry on, is there gonna be a problem at the airport?

Similar to others, I have had no issues bringing them through security.

Yup— empty bottles are never a problem. It’s only when they are full (or partially full) that security will stop you. If I were going to try to bring unopened bottles back, I’d make sure I could double bag them in ziplock baggies, as they’d have to go into checked luggage. Chances are they’d be fine—but last thing anyone needs is to be detained because there’s an unknown liquid dripping from your luggage. Even if it wasn’t dripping out everywhere, it would be a major pain to clean up.

As long as they are empty, you'll be fine. If you only have a carry-on you will not be able to bring back full ones.

I don’t know if the OP was wondering about this issue specifically but when Galaxy’s Edge first opened TSA agents were occasionally confiscating the bottles as they thought they were grenades. It was confusing enough that TSA issued specific guidance:

Hi Again, I am the OP and would like everyone to know I took 2 EMPTY ONES in my carry-on, and as everyone said, no problems at all.
