Taking Pictures on Rides

I posted this in the photography but think I may be better off posting the question here.

On what rides is it okay to take pictures on (I know not to use the flash, I don't want to be one of those people who annoy everyone around them)? I've never taken pictures on any of the rides but have seen people around me taking photo's. DH and I usually rush through the parks but this year will be taking our time and want to get lots of photos. Thanks for any help.
