Ill be doing vacation planning for the fall advantage and was curious if people have taken on a second job while they were down there to help with cash flow. Im a big guy who is experienced so finding work at a nightclub isnt difficult. How does Disney view it though?

You are required to have full availability, so I doubt that you're going to be able to swing both. Unless the 2nd job is very receptive to your switching hours a lot, or only giving you minimal part-time hours, it's going to be hard, but not impossible.

If you're a Vacation Planning Host or Hostess, you should be generally working mornings, however.

Walt Disney Parks and Resorts U.S., Inc. doesn't have any problem with Cast Members holding second jobs, as long as it doesn't interfere with their employment with Disney. The one exception to that rule is that you can't be in any Managerial or Supervisory position with an organization that directly competes against the Company (Theme Parks/Hotels, etc.).

Like previously said, It will be hard, but not impossible.

A friend that lived above me in vista way was able to get a host job at bennigens right outside the gates. Also, a friend of a friend had a job as a server at a restaurant on 192 somewhere.

Im not sure how they worked it out with disney, but i'm sure it wasn't easy. You never know what your schedule will be at disney, and your 2nd job would have to respect that and be flexible. So, it will be hard, but not impossible.

If you have an internship with Disney is it possible to get a second job as a part time character with Disney?

Instead of getting a second job, you could try picking up shifts from the hotline. There are plenty of shifts on there for all 4 parks and also post on the board at your location (if they have one) that you can take any shifts as long as you're not already scheduled and your cell number. You can usually pick up shifts that way too.

The good thing about Fall is once October hits, there is plenty of hours and you can try to get a party shift if you're not already scheduled for your regular position. I would think the summer peaks would be crazy for you too.
