Taking food vs Garden Grocer/Amazon

I couldn't think of anything worse than drinking A drink I have carried around in my bag all day. I would much rather pay the extra and have a nice cold one.

So your bag is wet from the condensation off the bottles.

I'm sure you can get these cheaper. Seen them in Tesco and Asda too, but it may be more cost effective and far less to carry if you think it would work. :)

They look good I might get a couple for next summer. Would certainly be lighter :) I now have my pile of bottles from GG ordered for next week!

I am just saying I prefer to buy a nice cold drink rather than carry 9 bottles around. We buy 1 at a time share and just buy more often. No extra weight to carry and we don't need a bag each. 1 is enough of a burden.

You carry 3 bottles? Each? That's a bit OTT, no?

We tend to have one each with us.

Then when it gets empty I go to a CS and get free ice water and refill our bottles.

I'm a very thirsty person so like to have some on me. But 3 bottles is unnecessary IMHO when there's always a store or fountain right there.

Also that's a lot of extra bottles you don't need to buy.

I would never be in a park in Orlando in August without physically carrying water for us all. I actually think that's potentially quite dangerous. We would also typically get through three or four bottles a day in the parks each so 16 a day at about $2 each over two weeks is a massive amount of money to spend. Fizzy pop is not going to hydrate you properly.

Lee, you know where i live...here people are indoctrinated from birth to drink drink drink drink drink to stay hydrated.
You can end up in the hospital from dehydration in less than a day here.
One high school girl died last year on a hike of only a few hours after not drinking.

And the health authorities here tell parents to let their kids drink whatever they will drink, just as long as they drink.
The need for fluids is so critical that they tell parents that while water is best, if your kids won't drink it or won't drink enough of it, give them whatever they will drink enough of.

The health authorities here say that fluids are fluids are fluids. You need to get fluids into you.
It's preferable not to drink a ton of sugar, but if that's the only way they'll drink - then sugar it is.

When my kids were younger, they went crazy over gatorade at WDW. We didn't have gatorade then, so WDW was the only place they saw it. (i can't stomach it, but they loved it and still do). So gatorade was part of their daily hydration. As was coke or whatever (as well as water).

If you're in orlando in the summer, you are going to sweat gallons of fluid from your body.
Adults will more than likely hydrate with water, but kids typically won't. Or not enough to make up for what they've lost.
Let them drink crap as long as they drink something!! :)
