I am sure it is not a problem however I just seem to be worrying about it. I have never taken own food in before. I need to eat every couple of hours or I am sick so hoping it is okay to take some snacks in with me past security?

Yes it is no problem, we take our own drinks and snacks on most of our trips:goodvibes

yep, you can take in whatever you like to snack on, just no glass bottles etc.

I took something to drink (plastic bottle), some snacks - no one said anything while checking the bags. Just don't take whole picnic basket and you'll be fine.

Hi

we took plastic water bottles in with us & snacks & put them through the xray machines. We did not have any issues. HTH

Sure you can take some snacks and drinks with you! Just not a whole picknick basket/refrigerator you can carry or something like that. As long as it all fits into a normal sized backpack or something in the genre they don't mind. Just no alcohol, glass botles or anything like that. :goodvibes

Congrats on your baby bump!

I was the same on both my pregnancies - had to eat little and often or was/felt sick .

As others have said, no problem taking snacks, however, in your condition, I would think they would be extra lenient anyway - hopefully! ;)

Remember to get your pregnancy pass from City Hall - they are very friendly in there.

It gives you special viewing areas for the parades & priority pass for some of the rides. I didnt end up using mine as the queues were non-existant in October but if big queues would have been useful to have.

This reminds me of probably the funniest thing I've ever seen in any Disney park. It was 8 years ago but I remember it like it was yesterday. I was waiting for my wife outside of the Nautilis just people watching when I saw it. A father opened his huge backpack and pulled out a big loaf of french bread and cut 2 slices each for his wife and 3 kids, then he pulled out a huge meat stick (pepperoni or salami I assume) and sliced it onto the bread for everyone, then out comes a huge block of cheese which he again sliced for everyone to complete their sandwiches. I think it struck me as being so funny because it reminded me of the Mr Bean episode when he made the sandwich on the park bench.

Long story short, bringing in food is no problem.

Thanks everyone:)

That sounds good. I was thinking I would have to give the parade a miss.:)

Can I suggest a bag of ginger biscuits or similar? Even if you're normally OK sometimes when you've got a bump silly things make you  - like the slight rocking when you board IASW
