Is this allowed?, and how?.

Just thinking if DS3 falls asleep and we cannot make it to our seating what our other options are apart from room service. I hate to miss a really good meal!.

Appreciate it!

On the first night of our 7 night cruise, we sat down and ordered. My husband had one escargot and it was all over for him, he was back in the room being seasick. When I came back to let my tablemates know that he was fine but we were passing on dinner that night, our server insisted I at least take my dinner back to the room with me. He gave me a metal cover and a bundle of silverware and I went back to the room. He wanted me to take my husband's but I knew that he wasn't going to be eating a heavy meal that night :)

So I do know that I was able to get my meal "to go" but I'm not sure how it would work if you just show up and ask for say 2 or 3 meals to go.

We didnt make dinner one night due to a fiasco with our 3.5 yo DS. We went back to our room and ordered room service. 5 minutes later we had a knock on our door and we thought, wow, that was fast. It wasnt room service, it was our regular waiter bringing us food from the dining room. Of course then our room service food showed up later and we had tons of food.
I have heard if you are in a higher category(3+, I think) you can get in room dining, but we were in a cat 11.
Good luck!

We too had to miss dinner one night due to a sick child. DH went down to see if he could pick up something from the dinning room. We said he would wait for it. Our servers sent him back to the room, saying they would take care of us. They then brought the food to our room when it was ready. They even waited about 15 mintues before bringing our dessert so that it would not get warm while we ate our entree.

Thanks for the replies, and it is great to hear how accomadating the staff are..........wow gotta love disney!!
