Taking a trip to NYC

Hey there, my family's thinking of taking a trip to NYC over the thanksgiving break. If you've been there, what would you be sure NOT too miss? (Other that the thanksgiving parade!)

Try to see a Broadway show if you can. Or, you could go see the Radio City Christmas Show. And of course there's shopping (or just looking at stores since most are realy expensive lol).

Also, it's worth visiting Ground Zero, just to pay your respects to the victims. Even though you have an idea of what Ground Zero is like, it's still pretty shpocking to see it up close.

Well, if your there early, go to Rockefeller Center and you can watch NBC's Today show in person, then go on the NBC tour right next door. Walk around Times Square, go to Central Park, 5th Ave. shopping is always good to.

Ooooh, yes, I went on the NBC tour a few years ago! It's pretty cool. We got to see their control room (from the window outside of it) and the sets of Dateline, The Rosie O'Donnel show (that was when it was still on the air), and Saturday Night Live.

When i was in NYC i saw an off broadway inprov show and it was awesome. Its called Chicago City Limits. Its a show kind of like Who's line is it anyway.

Def see a Broadway show (i would go for Lion King, Wicked, or Hairspray). And as other ppl said, The Radio City Xmas show, NBC Today show, and Rockefeller Center in general.

i agree with everyone else.....def. see a broadway show (i saw Beauty and the Beast a couple of years ago and it was awesome) also go to Planet Hollywood (i did this with school and the scenery is so cool and the food is good) if you have time def. check out the Rockettes in the Radio City Xmas show that was unbeleiveable.....above all GO SHOPPING!!! you can't beat NYC for shoppping!!!!! Hope you have a great time!

PS - If you have time one night you should go to CHinatown and Little Italy on Canal Street they have great bargains on designer bags (louis vetton, prada, burberry, gucci, coach and more) and a lot of other stuff!!! in little Italy they have gellato's (sp?) there soooooooooooo good!!!

Go to Mars2112, it's a restaurant that ytou have to take a simulator ride like Star Tours to get to the eating part of the restaurant. And inside, it looks like Mars with reddish rocks and cave-like, and Martian aliens walking around. It's the best! It's on Broadway and 50 somnething .

Make sure you go to the Toys r us. Go on the ferris wheel it is so much fun!!
