Right, i am calling in the DIS experts because I am driving myself slightly mad trying to figure out if i have got a good balance, am showing him all the highlights and fun choices at WDW, with hopefully good food as well. So in your opinion, have i got my list right and what would your list be?
Just a little info for you, this is my 8th trip, this is OH first. I am 30 and he is 37, he will try just about anything to eat. We share a love of sushi, mexican and he is a big meat lover. We are doing dining plan but this shouldnt be a factor in the choices as i am going to be paying OOP for a couple. i think i am having the hardest time because i love trying new places and i only have 2 new ones on my list. But this trip is for him. So help me out if you can. Give me your list of top 5 restaurants you would take a newbie to, to give them the wdw eating experience.
I have:
Tusker House breakfast
Crystal Palace or cape may breakfast (help me choose, have crystal palace right now)
Ohana
Tokyo Dining
San Angel Inn
Boma
Raglan Road (have this, love it, but want to maybe switch to Paradiso 37 which is walk up only)
California Grill
Hollywood brown Derby (fantasmic package and only one I could get)

I'd suggest Le Cellier or Tuttos instead. At Brown Derby, steaks are fab; some of the other entrees just so-so. I was very disappointed in the Cobb Salad last trip.
. think i will stick with Crystal Palace, it is a great buffet, and i have never rated Chef Mickeys much
Le Cellier..sorry guys its nice but i dont get the hype, however i could try for an ADR. Actually Akershaus i do like for the food, think its above average, just trying to imagine how OH would feel at a princess lunch
So in a way my love for sushi ruined my overall california grill experience. this time i will be sure to have a small sushi appetiser, which should be easier as i will be paying OOP for it
