Hi everyone, this forum looks so helpful so thought id join and post:)

We go to DLP on the 18th of this month and are staying in the disneyland hotel. We will have your four year old and a 7 month old baby.

Could i just ask some questions to anyone who has recently taken a baby...

Is there likely to be a kettle in the room so i can make his bottles

Is there any way of keeping bottles cold (hire a mini fridge?)

How did you sterilise?

Is there any food un the restaurants suitable for chopping up for him eg, veg, pasta and sauce?

And , last one, we have asked for a cot, is it definate that we will get one? has anyone been told there arent any available (this happened to us once in spain!!!)

Thanks a million.

I am also taking a baby who will turn 7 months when we are there. We will be staying at the Newport Bay Hotel. I rang and asked about a fridge. There is a minibar in the room, which is a robobar (if you remove anything you have paid for it, so you can't reorganise the fridge). This is the same as the ones in Disneyland Hotel. They also told me that the temperature of the minibar was not the same as a fridge, but just enough to keep the contents cold & would therefore not be suitable for baby's bottles. I don't see this as a problem because I can add powder to make up bottles as required. I just won't be able to store any expressed milk, if I am still breastfeeding by then.

I am planning to take a travel kettle as there isn't one in the room, maybe someone can advise you whether or not you can hire them in the Disneyland Hotel.

I have recently bought a travel steriliser on ebay. The make is Babytec & it is very compact. It only holds 2 bottles at a time.

I stayed in the Disneyland Hotel when my daughter was 2. We asked for a cot & were given a white wooden one. Bedding was supplied, but we had brought our own.

My husbands cousin was there last week and checked out the baby centre for me. She said that there was great facilities for changing & feeding. They sold jars of food, but didn't have nappies.

I would advise you to take your own pushchair as the ones you hire in the park do not recline & also have no raincovers.

We used Milton steriliser tablets when DD was little :)
I'm sure you will have no getting a cot. We've always had this request met.
