Taking a 3 month old to WDW!! :O Am I crazy?!?!

I loved the photos and the video link in your signature! I have a one month old and we are considering taking her in early December...the video made me cry. I think I HAVE to take her...she is only that little for so long and I won't get a chance to take her as a little baby later! Awesome job on your video.

Thank you! I would do it again in a heartbeat. As long as you don't mind going late, or leaving early, or spending a couple hours in the aquarium, you should be fine.

And congrats on your baby! :goodvibes

I took both my kids around that same age. In fact, my older DS turned around for the first time the day before he hit 3 months in the bathroom at American Adventure! LOL I have the photo to prove it!

They are so portable at that age! More so than they will ever be LOL

As long as you understand that you won't be touring commando style, you'll be fine. Have a ball!
There are plenty of rides that you can ride with a baby that young (and FYI Ellen's Energy Adventure is a great little place for a 45 minute A/C nap or BF session)

Make sure that you and the baby stay well hydrated and take breaks when needed. There are those who go back to the hotel in the middle of the day. We never did that though, but also were never rope drop people either. In fact, we rarely hit the parks before lunch lol, but that is just how we roll.

I am currently 7 1/2 months pregnant with my first child. And I absolutely LOVE Disney. I've been at least 8 times and I even managed to convince my then fiancé to take a Disney Cruise for our honeymoon and it was amazing!!!

Most of our family on both sides are planning a trip to Disney the first week of December with free dining. :cloud9: But my future lil Disney Baby won't be quite 3 months old, and I'm planning on breastfeeding.

Am I completely crazy? Or is it possible to have an awesome trip even with an infant?? And advice or tips are more then WELCOME!!! :woohoo:

Our first grandson was 6 weeks old for his first family trip to the world and it turned out great. He rode around in his stroller, napped, and when it was time to nurse, daughter found a quiet spot and fed him. He was a very contented baby and we all enjoyed the trip.

Her second child was almost 2 years old when we went at Halloween and what a little terror he was! LOL! He hated the crowds, hated the characters.... the only thing he liked was Small World and he and I rode it a gazillion times while everyone else did other things. I didn't mind a bit. :)

With children, you never know how they will do in a situation. Shoot, you don't even know how they will be at home most of the time. :) We raised 5, have 9 grandchildren now and the entire family 'does Disney' at least once a year. We've taken infants, kids in their 'terrible twos' and now we take teens who will graduate from high school this year. Time goes by soooooo fast.

Cowgirl, go and have fun! Your family will help you with that baby and you will get some very nice pictures of him/her at the World for the first time. Enjoy! :)

Thanks for all the advice and tips!!

We have booked our trip and I'm hoping our lil man is a good baby. Lol.

I just made 38 weeks and already starting to dilate so he could come any day now!! I'm hoping sooner rather then later. Lol.

Please feel free to keep posting more tips and advice. :)
